The hotel

Every bit as palatial as the name suggests, Emirates Palace is fit for royalty. Its private beach, marina and bay give an air of intimate seclusion, while the location, on the Corniche in the heart of Abu Dhabi, says otherwise. Under 114 ornate domes, each 18 metres high, this regal retreat hosts elegant guest rooms, each with sensational views and 24-hour butler service. A truly indulgent spa (we’re talking gold body and beauty treatments), and 12 restaurants, cafés, lounges and bars serving cuisines from world-renowned chefs. Even its gardens are majestic, with 85 hectares promising tranquil strolls, yoga and two temperature controlled swimming pools: one for relaxation and the other for fun. The crown of Emirates Palace is its dining, from Arabic cuisine at Lebanese Terrace, to the award-winning Mezzaluna Italian restaurant. With many of Abu Dhabi's main attractions within a short distance, including superb shopping destinations and impressive cultural and heritage sites, Emirates Palace provides guests with the perfect place to explore the beauty and charm of the UAE's capital.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay – Truly World Class I recently spent three wonderful nights at the Emirates Palace and it exceeded every expectation. I had originally planned the trip with my mum, but sadly she had an accident and was unable to travel, so I arrived on my own. From the moment I checked in, I was made to feel so welcome and cared for by the staff. A special thank you to Ciara and Nicholas, who were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable stay. Their kindness and genuine warmth meant so much and made me feel completely at home. I would also like to mention Stephen, who was always so kind, efficient and professional every morning at breakfast. His friendly manner was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel itself is simply breathtaking. Emirates Palace is beyond stunning, with beautiful surroundings, luxurious facilities and impeccable attention to detail. The half-board package is exceptionally generous, offering a wonderful variety and outstanding quality. What truly sets this hotel apart is the people. Every member of staff goes out of their way to help, and nothing is too much trouble. Everything about my stay felt perfect, and I left with memories I will treasure. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Emirates Palace to anyone and everyone. It is a truly exceptional hotel and I cannot wait to return. Read less

I booked a package that explicitly advertised a room upgrade opportunity. When I noticed that no upgrade had been provided, I asked about it at the front desk. I was immediately told that upgrades were “subject to availability” and it is unavailable... After I pointed out that Abu Dhabi hotels are nowhere near full at the moment, she still said it is nearly full because it's weekend. Well lets check out the 'full occupancy' photos i attached.... :) Only after I firmly pushed back did she reluctantly offer an alternative, a garden-view room. Since I wasn't interested in a garden view, I requested what should have been my original category preference: an unblocked city view. The alternative she eventually offered was a higher-floor, but with a twin room with even more side-facing view. Having no better option, I accepted it and ended up spending my honeymoon in a twin-bed room. If the hotel is unwilling to provide upgrades, then it should stop promoting packages that create expectations in the first place. There were several other shortcomings on the part of the front desk and the guest relations, but I will leave them out of this review. What ultimately saved this stay and turned it into a memorable experience were Umar, who warmly introduced us to the room, and John from the Butler Department, whose kindness and genuine care left a lasting impression. These two gentlemen genuinely understand what true hospitality means and are among the brightest representatives of Emirates Palace. The hotel management should recognize and take good care of them, because they are the people who make guests want to return. Read less

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay at Emirates Palace and what a stay it was. From the moment we pulled up to the moment we drove away, every single member of staff went above and beyond to be of assistance. The hotel is enormous, the staff not only give you directions but also show you the way. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is exquisite, honestly we walked around in awe. We spent our days by the waterpark pool as we have an 8 year old however we did take some bikes and cycle around the perimeter and seen the beautiful beach and the second pool which looked lovely and relaxing too. While there our daughter attended the Kids Palace and she loved it. It was the perfect option for her to avoid the midday heat. The staff there were so attentive and fun. We ate in the Lebanese Terrace and Talea, the Italian restaurant where the staff were superb and the food was delicious. I’m hoping the next time we return that Broadway will be open as I think it will be a great option with our 8 year old. Our daughter loves her food so breakfast in Vendome was her favourite, she could get a little of everything that she likes - fruit, toast, cheese, beef bacon and a good cup of tea! They have a great WhatsApp service and any time I text with a query or request was answered instantly. We have stayed in some “fancy hotels” as our daughter calls them but definitely the service here is the best we have experienced. I’m already trying to decide when we can return next! Read less
