The hotel

Art deco style and relaxed beach vibes is what the Gale South Beach is all about. On one side you've got Collins Avenue, a bustling hubbub of city lights, sights and sounds. On the other is the beach, with the relaxed promenade and white sands leading to the Atlantic Ocean. And at the Gale, you've got an infinity-edge pool to plunge into, a delicious Italian restaurant to eat at, and rooms decorated with the beach and ocean as their inspiration. Where is it

On Collins Avenue, a short stroll from the beach and promenade. A 4-minute walk to Lincoln Road, and 10 minutes to the top of Ocean Drive. Transfer time from Miami International Airport: 25 minutes.

Hotel information

All rooms have complimentary WiFi access, 55-inch HDTV, premium bath amenities, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board, and bathrobes. Signature Rooms are 250-325 sq ft with either 1 double bed, 1 queen-size bed, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Dolce Italian (indoor and outdoor dining and drinks; open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch). Medium Cool (cocktail lounge).

Infinity-edge swimming pool. Gym. Bicycle rental. Water sports rentals* including paddle boards, wave runners and parasailing.

I had an excellent stay at the Gale. The restaurant is reasonable good and the staff at the hotel were excellent - especially Frank and Gret.

Frank and Priscila at the Curio hotel by Hilton were very respectful and helpful during our checkout! Helped out holding our bags while we went out on the city. Would definitely come back to hotel for the customer service alone.

The hotel is located in a prime spot, a block away from the beach and is really a gem considering cost! The 5th floor pool was very warm and during our stay was never that busy.
