This place is truly amazing. While I'm familiar with Santa Barbara through family visits, this was my first time at the Harbor View Inn. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. I was greeted by Jesus, the bellman, who was incredibly kind, assisting with my luggage and answering my questions with a warm smile. Next, I met Daisy at the front desk, and she was outstanding! She was so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the inn, happily showing me around and making me feel welcome. Then I met Cameron, who was also amazing. Such a friendly group of people! We spent the next few days figuring out how we could stay at the inn permanently because we liked it so much. I honestly didn't want to leave. Thank you guys so much for making my weekend and inspiring me to come back ASAP!

Overall, we had a very good stay at the Harbor View Inn. The location is excellent — close to everything, and we were able to walk everywhere, which made exploring Santa Barbara incredibly easy. The room was spacious, comfortable, and a great place to unwind and get ready for a friend’s wedding.
We didn’t have time to use the amenities, but we especially wanted to recognize Eli, who was fantastic. He helped with our bags, took the time to explain where everything was, and made us feel welcomed right away. You can tell the cleaning staff was very diligent, and knew when to tidy/refresh the room, or leave us alone.
Our only suggestion would be clearer communication in advance around parking (additional costs) and arrival logistics to help make check-in smoother. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider staying again.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, we could have done without the noisy cleaning staff and extremely loud partygoers. We had a lovely view of the parking lot.
