Had a lovely, relaxing week at Hawksbill resort. Beautiful beach location, great food, drink, all inclusive, extremely quiet, fairly small place. Evening entertainment over quite early which I found annoying as if you dont dine early you either miss it or cannot really enjoy it as you are trying to eat. They really need to invest on a decent sound system for the dj who did his best but sound quality was awful. Small pool, watersports available included in price, beach towels provided and besch drinks service. Would have been nice to have snacks available. Nearest shops and bars are a drive away, not possible to walk anywhere outside the resort so have to get taxis if you want to go out. There was a sign up sheet for a couple of trips but it was not always easy to get information. The person on information desk did not seem to be able to answer our questions. Most staff are lovely and very helpful, but no evidence of a hotel manager around which I think would have helped us. However an absolutely beautiful spot, great if you want a very peaceful, relaxing beach break. Saw a couple of teenagers and not sure how much they would have enjoyed it, not very lively for youngsters. I would go back again if I wanted a quiet break in the sunshine. Read less

Our beachfront bungalow room was spacious enough and had a wonderful outdoor shower. Fell asleep to the wonderful sound of the waves pounding the sand every night. With 4 beaches to utilize and explore there was never a hard time finding a lounge chair and some shade. The food at the buffet was a wide variety and something for everyone. The grounds were maintained constantly and in beautiful fashion. We enjoyed the Managers Cocktail Reception on Tuesday night and enjoyed meeting the staff and mingling with other guests. Overall a great experience and we are sure to return! Thank you Haksbill Resort! Read less

Many many of these reviews are from 2024 and I believe the resort has had quite a few updates since then. Also this is not a chain resort, this is a small intimate resort. Many many of these reviews are from 2024 and I believe the resort has had quite a few updates since then. Also this is not a chain resort, this is a small intimate resort. No crazy five star amenities but they do make you feel accommodated. You aren't going to be bothered all the time, it's peaceful and secluded. Hawksbill has 4 amazing beaches available to all guests making it a perfect location for ocean lovers. Very clean beaches with roped swimming areas for those who want a rock free area and you can snorkel in the rockier areas and see lots of fish! We love trying new foods and thought the buffet and sea grapes was great. The buffet changes often and has specialized stations. Same with breakfast and lunch. Also champagne with breakfast, self serve. And table service for drinks through out dinner. Entertainment through out the week, insides djs, bands and fire dancer. The beaches are great, there are mixed reviews saying they're rocky and not swimmable. Plenty of area to swim. We had a beach front bungalow, it was good size, clean and amazing view. Housekeeping was great and always left our room clean. The mini bar stocking is a daily thing and you can request. This resort is accommodating and a nice little piece of heaven. Thank you hawksbill! We recently stayed at Hawksbill Resort in Antigua and, while the setting is absolutely beautiful, the overall experience was mixed. The highlights are undeniable—the location is stunning, with multiple gorgeous beaches, breathtaking views, and a lovely infinity pool that’s perfect for relaxing. We stayed in a Royal Palm beachfront room, and the proximity to the water was fantastic. That said, the resort itself falls short in several key areas. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are in need of significant updating. While housekeeping was satisfactory, the overall condition feels quite dated. The biggest letdown was the food and service. The food was consistently mediocre, and the buffet often ran out of plates and even food, which was disappointing—especially as this seemed to happen almost every night. Service overall was poor, though we did have two waiters, Liam and Errol, who stood out for their friendliness and attentiveness. There also seemed to be a lack of communication between staff—for example, we were told for six days that mojitos weren’t available due to no mint at one bar, only to later find out that mint had been available the entire time at the Sea Grapes bar. In the end, Hawksbill has incredible potential thanks to its natural beauty, but improvements to the dining experience, service, and room quality are needed to truly match the setting. Read less

This has been our 11th visit to this very laid back, friendly resort. The main appeal to me is the low level appearance that leads to a typical Caribbean ambience. This has been our 11th visit to this very laid back, friendly resort. The main appeal to me is the low level appearance that leads to a typical Caribbean ambience. Some of the rooms could probably do with a bit of TLC, but in saying that they are very clean and comfortable and cater for everything you need. The grounds are spectacular and are very much improved since we first started coming. If you are wanting gourmet food and lots of evening entertainment than this is probably not a hotel you would choose, but bear in mind it is only 3 star and they do their best to excel where they can. Of the 4 beaches Seagrapes, the main beach is probably the only one that you can say is easy to get in and out of, but all the others have their own charm and are very peaceful and relaxing. Read less
