Very Very Very loud streets. Maybe it was just myself because my wife didn't have too much trouble falling asleep. But a bit warning for the light sleepers, the crazy vrooms, parties, singing all sound fun until it's 11 pm and you really want to get some rest. The staff helped us to find a higher floor which helped a bit but it's still quite noisy.
overall it's a great experience.

Not a good experience

The lounge is small and old. The breakfast was mediocre. The internet is slow and unstable. The street side room can hear loud noise at night and I had terrible sleep these days, while the staffs have offered zero mitigation solutions.

Absolutely loved staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki! Hotel is very spacious with a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped with a fridge and coffee maker. Beds are quite comfortable with quality linens. The resort fee is a bit steep but you do get some perks with that--beach towels, free beach chairs, and different crafting activities. Location is fabulous--right across the street from Waikiki Beach by the statue of the Duke, and right on the main avenue. Tons of local shopping and eating all withing walking distance!
One draw back--the pool is very, very small and the pool area isn't that large either--maybe 50 lounges for a hotel that holds many hundreds, but the beach is easy to access and they do provide beach chairs!

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki! The staff was friendly and courteous and made us feel like family! Our room was beautiful and very clean. Our daughters made flower bracelets as an activity and had a wonderful time! We would 10/10 recommend staying here!
Beautiful views

This location was perfect right in front was the ocean. The customer service was amazing. The rooms were super clean. My only complaint was the bed. It was too firm for me and my back was hurting but other than that everything was immaculate. The food is delicious in the restaurants… I would definitely come back again 100%
