The hotel

This boutique Caribbean getaway is located in Portici Bay and has just 16 cottage and villas, guaranteeing peace and privacy. Laluna has been designed to incorporate a blend of Caribbean, Italian and Balinese influences in the architecture and style. This blend of cultures also extends to the dining experience as the restaurant serves a bounty of Italian dishes created with local organic produce, opening directly onto the beach so you can dine with spectacular views of the sea. Laluna embodies the slow pace of Grenada life by providing you with many ways to get that well deserved R&R, so book yourself in for a traditional Balinese massage and let your worries slip away. The most magical time of the day, however, is sunset - head to the bar and ask for the 'Sunset Point Carry Bag', and enjoy a glass of wine with a glorious view.

Located in Portici Bay, just 10 minutes from the capital, St Georges. Transfer time from airport: 10 minutes.

16 cottages and luxury villas. Each cottage features Balinese decor, semi open bathrooms, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, Bluetooth speaker, mini bar with complimentary water, tea and coffee, in-room safe, hair dryer, bathroom amenities, bath robes, a king-size bed, and a private wooden veranda with a plunge pool. 

Cottage Suites are tucked away on the upper hillside of the hotel with great views of the Caribbean Sea, sleeping maximum 2 adults. Please note: these suites are 60 steps from the beach and main house.


Deluxe Cottages are located directly above the beach, slightly closer to the waterfront, with views of the garden or the Caribbean Sea, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The Beach Cottage Deluxe is located directly on the beach and offers complete privacy – ideal for couples.

Two Bedroom Cottages are set on the upper hillside of the hotel, and feature two side-by-side individual suites, each with their own bathroom, bedroom, and plunge pool, sleeping maximum 4 adults. Please note: the suites are 60 steps from the beach and main house.

Villas at Laluna come with unobstructed sea views, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, barbecue area, open living space, and infinity edge pool. Three bedroom villas sleep maximum 6 adults, Four bedroom villas sleep maximum 8 adults, and Five bedroom villas sleep maximum 10 adults.

Beachfront restaurant offering authentic Italian cuisine with a Caribbean twist, with an alfresco dining room that opens directly onto the beach, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as bar bites and drinks throughout the day. Beach Bar and Sunset Lounge, with daily happy hour, and wine cellar housing 10,000 bottles from different Italian regions.

Laluna was pure magic! That includes the people, accommodations, spa, beach, food, drinks, and I could go on and on! We enjoyed our week in paradise so much. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, look no further!!!

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks all were consistent and delicious. Having your own little house was amazing, not just privacy, but plenty of space and comfort. We also reserved twice for massages, and I recommend to get a massage while in there at least one. We felt very pampered and relax in this hotel. We had done big hotels, resorts, all included, and by far, La luna became instantly a favorite and definitely a place to comeback hopefully soon. Read less

From the juicy lobster dinner and creamy tuna tartare to the delicious Caesar salad and steak sandwich at lunch. The cocktails were also amazing, especially the espresso martini. Evenings at the bar were a highlight and we met some great people. Tracy made the experience even more special with her exceptional service. Our cottage was lovely, with a bathroom that opened onto a stunning beach view. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and birds was pure magic. A truly special stay! I can’t wait to return. Read less

On arrival we met the most friendly faces, had a banana baileys colada(it was amazing) and then had lunch (yummy pumpkin soup & grilled tuna) before checking in to our cottage. The view was breathtaking! The beach is secluded so we held hands and took a walk with the waves gently crashing at out feet.… Read more

The longest nap on the beach loungers and then a romantic dinner(Tagliata-steak), and some cocktails to end the night. Waking up to the sound of ocean waves and birds singing felt like a dream.
