Preskil Island Resort

What a beautiful experience this was. I travelled solo for my birthday, not knowing what to expect, and as I write this, I am filled with awe and emotion. It’s honestly sad to be leaving after such a wonderful holiday. My stay at Preskil was nothing short of heartwarming. Firstly, the location☺️, the views, the serenity, the pristine surroundings—were truly healing. I watched the sunrise, admired the vast ocean and the mountain views, and felt completely at peace. My experience with the Preskil Resort Team was filled with warmth and joy. Their smiles carried both kindness and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed graciously by the lovely Angelina, who was both warm and professional. She immediately mentioned that a special day—my birthday, was coming up, which made me feel even more seen and celebrated. My room was bright, clean, and had all amenities intact. Although I booked a Superior Seaview room, I could only see the sea from about half to a quarter of my balcony. The only downside was the absence of an iron or steamer in the room; having to request one from reception and only being allowed an hour to use it was a bit inconvenient. The water excursions/sports provided by the resort were great and enjoyable. The Boat House team was so lovely and patient, encouraging me to try activities I had never done before. They guided me with care, always mindful of the day’s weather conditions. I can now confidently say I can paddle, kayak, and snorkel, all thanks to them! The Rendezvous Restaurant service and reservations team was incredibly warm, kind, and helpful. I found myself smiling every time I walked in and out because their presence and energy was just so professionally warm and comforting. There was never a dull a moment. The Admin Team was super helpful as well, especially the lovely lady with the glasses (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name🙏🏽). She was always willing to assist with anything I needed. The Leisure Team, especially Deepshika, DJ Alexandre, Miguel, Noemie, and Tanshiana, all led by Chris—thank you. Your packed entertainment schedule brought such joy to my stay. From the shared laughter and fun dances, to the aqua gym sessions (I’m still forgiving you for skipping Wednesday’s! 😅), to the Sega and other dance genre lessons, the henna tattoos, the evening shows—Sega Night, Asia Night, All Around the World, Christian on the piano, and Bollywood Night and the after-show DJ segments, everything was exceptional. I was so full of joy; I danced like my life depended on it. The Banyan Spa experience was another highlight. The team was warm, gentle, and professional. Katriana gave me the perfect birthday spa treatment—her massage and facial technique were outstanding. She was so sweet and wished me a happy birthday more times than I can count. I was so relaxed I didn’t even realise the session was over. And the lovely Maya gave me the most amazing lay‑down pedicure—something I never imagined possible and that it could be so heavenly. Even when I tried to resist total relaxation, it kept catching up with me! 😅 All in all, the entire team worked tirelessly to make my stay enjoyable and memorable. I may not remember every name, but please know that your efforts were deeply appreciated. Although this was a solo trip, not once did I feel alone. The incredible staff and talented artists made me feel cared for and surrounded by warmth. I can confidently say that my stay at Preskil has been my best solo trip yet. I cannot recommend the Preskil Island Resort and its wonderful team highly enough! We stayed for a week in March and throughout our stay we were incredibly well looked after by the staff here. Even when there were minor unforseen niggles, they were handled so promptly and professionally that it never disrupted the flow of a perfect holiday. The hotel itself is stunning, always clean, safe and very well maintained. The housekeeping, maintenance and grounds teams are always quietly tinkering away. We loved our room; incredibly spacious, heaps of storage (for women with endless outfits this was a definite need) and fantastic sea/beach views. The beach and its surrounding waters are private and very safe for water users and families alike. Plus the hotel’s proximity to the airport, local shops and south island activities make it the perfect base. Finally, a huge thank you to all the staff who cared for our family like we were one of their own. Youdish who always made sure my tired self had enough coffee at breakfast and Indiren (plus Virji and Keshina) who ensured we had enough beers at dinner! Most importantly, they ensured our food allergies were taken in to account and were able to enjoy our holiday every step of the way. Even Chris, the ‘gentle giant’ Gym manager who tried (….and failed..) to get me to go to the gym more! My sister highly recommends, Tantely in the Banyan Spa for the best ‘Jet lag/ De-stress massage’ after jumping off an 11hour flight and starting your holiday the right way! My family and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything from the peaceful location to the buffet and activities was truly enjoyable. The setting was calm and relaxing, the food had great variety, and there was always something fun to do. A special thank you to Rachel and Yudish Jr, whose warm and attentive service made the experience even more memorable. They truly went above and beyond with such kindness and professionalism. Dear Preskil Island Resort, We had a wonderful holiday at your resort in February with our family! Everything was perfect, and the entire staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We would especially like to mention Oliver, who helped organize a fantastic family photo session for us on the hotel grounds – it’s a memory we will always cherish. We are also very grateful to Chef Raj, who was always there to assist with our little son’s food allergies, ensuring he could enjoy his meals safely. And a special thank you to Sujata at the beach bar, who welcomed us every day with delicious cocktails and warm, friendly conversations. This holiday truly exceeded all our expectations.
