The Good: Beautiful Location Close to the airport Wonderful beach and ocean Good A/C in the room Desserts in the buffet are wonderful The Bad: A La Cartes - Slow service and most of the meals are not very good. Buffet - Unacceptable food quality. Frozen egg block is not acceptable at a 5 star resort for breakfast. The food was very bland and often there was no food at all. Staff - They clearly aren't happy and could care less if youre there (they'd prefer you werent) Check in - took 2 hours to check in even with pre-checkin completed. Rooms: Smelled musty and of sewage in the evenings often. Needs some cleaning, especially in the bathrooms. Bars close at midnight which is very odd and forces everyone to bed. Lack of towels and often ripped or dirty. Room service either takes 2.5 hours or is completely wrong. Bars often out of basic ingredients even when they first open. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing 5 star resorts ive been to in the Carribean. They should be stripped of the royalton name and given a 3 star rating. Ive been to other royalton properties and they dont even come close to comparing. Read less

Took aqua fit class with Kelson. I was a great workout. I was lots of resistance training and you could adjust to your level. It started around 11 so you could still sleep in. Nelson is really fit too. He obviously pratices what he preaches.

The rooms look exactly like the pictures. 24/7 room service is included and it arrived on time whenever we ordered it. This resort has no elevators and is a bit large so expect a lot of walking and stairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but people with mobility issues or strollers might want to keep that in mind. You can always call a buggy to take you around the resort though! The restaurants were great, although we preferred the buffet. There's a decent amount of variety with fruits, salads and cold cuts being always available while the rest of the menu cycled. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to get away from the real world and just reset. Read less

this hotel is not what it advertises. There is no luxury, the food was awful, some of the service very good but a lot of the staff needed an attitude check. The app that they recommend to use for everything on resort didn't work, the portal on the TV didn't work. I have stayed at other Royalton properties before and this one was not it. … Read more

The app that they recommend to use for everything on resort didn't work, the portal on the TV didn't work. I have stayed at other Royalton properties before and this one was not it. Didn't even try to offer compensation for any of the things that went wrong. If they did not bill this as a luxury resort I would have as much of an issue but it was very mehhh and I would not go back. I ordered pictures from the photo shoot on the beach and have still not gotten them and its been a week. Read less

Wife and I went on 9/6through 9/12/25. We arrived at Royalton on (/6 and it was around 3:30pm. We were taken by cart to the diamond club main building to register. The registration went smoothly but we had to wait over 3 hours for our room 20-108 to be ready . We were introduced to our butler Rohan at around 5:00pm. When we got into our room we found a number of mosquitos in it . Rohan said after we we go to dinner the room would be spayed. I thought that should have been done while we waited in the diamond club building for our room, The was spray on 3 consecutive days and after that the mosquitos were no longer an issue. We has the swim out room and we thoroughly enjoyed the room . Another point not done was that checkin we told them it was our 43rd wedding anniversary, but but on out third day we asked about any thing being done and then a banner was put on our door and champagne in our room. I guess I should have believed the reviews about the food in the buffet and restaurants. The breakfast buffet in in the main buffet and in the Italian restaurant for diamond club guests were terribly disappointing. Food except for omelet station was always cold . Lunch at the buffet was terrible everyday. All our dinners at the three sit down restaurants were very disappointing. Especially in the French restaurant where it took over an hour for appetizers to be brought to us after ordering. We were never offered another drink at our table either. Food was so underwhelming that our last two nights we went out to restaurants for great meat meals. Another complaint we had was on the two days our butler Rohan was off we had no butler . Our other butlerKezia was apparently off also . We also never Kezia until one hour before we departed on9/12. we were told on the two days Rohan was off if we needed anything we were to come to the Diamond front desk or call the desk for our needs. I told the people there this was very disappointing and not what we paid a good amount extra for !! The resort is very nice and the Diamond club pool and bar were great as was the service at the pool. But in the end cause of the food experience and the the other short comings mentioned I will not be recommending the Royalton Grenada to our friends or anyone who asks bout our vacation. If you check and read my many other reviews I have made this is probably my worst review I have written. Read less
