The Liming Bequia

Bequia, St Vincent and the Grenadines

Star rating

The hotel

One of the last bastions of Caribbean exclusivity, the islanders of Bequia know how special it is – which is why the owners of this beach retreat only invite a handful of guests to stay at any one time. With just nine luxury villas, one chic Junior Suite, and the five bedroom mansion house to pick from, each with its own infinity pool or hot tub, it has the feel of a private and very exclusive estate. This elite edge continues at The Liming’s dining room, where seafood is fresh from the ocean and many other ingredients are island-sourced – and it’s all served on the sea-top terrace (or in your villa or suite if you fancy even more privacy).

Our family of four had the most phenomenal stay at Liming Bequia Jan 2-8, 2026. We stayed in Villa #6 (Petit Martinique), and it honestly exceeded every expectation we had. The rooms are spacious, large family room to gather with kitchen table, plunge pool at your footsteps was used several times daily and always kept clean. Room amenities on point everything to complete the luxury stay including plush robes, towels, slippers, well stocked bar, fresh fruit etc. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The villa itself was stunning - private, beautifully designed, and absolutely perfect for family with young kids. It felt like our own slice of paradise. A special mention must go to the general manager, Ian, who is truly first class. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for guests set the tone for the entire experience. You can tell the property is run with pride and heart. Every single staff member was exceptional - from the wonderful ladies in reception to the attentive service team and the incredibly talented chef. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel relaxed, looked after, and at home, while still delivering a world-class luxury experience. Every single meal was impeccable - fine dining with a carribean flare and they will easily accommodate any dietary requirements / allergies. This was one of those rare stays where everything just clicks. Liming Bequia gave our family memories we’ll treasure forever, and we cannot wait to return. Highly, highly recommended - don’t hesitate, just book it and get ready to enjoy heaven on earth! Read less

I absolutely loved this place. It's quiet, there is barely anyone on the beach feeling very private. The beach is great, the hotel is truly luxury, food was good, service was excellent. I would love to return. There is only one restaurant, so if you stay a long time you'll need a taxi or a rental to be able to eat in other places on the island too, or you can walk to the bus station- probably a 20-30 minutes walk - right where the asphalt road starts. For a short stay, the one restaurant they have has a good menu. I only had 1 issue with the place and that was the dirt road to make it there. It's not even on Google maps and there are two roads: the airport one and another one 5 minutes above the airport. We almost turned around thinking there's no way that's the road until someone told us that's the one! We hit our rental car twice underneath. The potholes are simply huge. I'm not asking for asphalt, but at least throw some dirt in the potholes so rental cars can be driven there without needing and SUV or risking to damage the car. I'll put pictures to judge it for yourself. Last 3 pictures are the dirt road pictures, yes, the ones with water on the road. Read less

We just returned from a 10 night bareboat sailing trip that started and ended in Bequia and the best decision I made was choosing to stay our last night at this exquisite resort. We were collected by taxi from our marina within 10 minutes and arrived to the most welcoming lovely staff who made us feel at home immediately. The resort is set away from the bustling market area and just the perfect serene environment we needed. The 1 bedroom suite was wonderfully appointed with stone floors, well laid out living space and bedroom and the most incredible shower - so needed after on a sailboat for that many days! The best was the large private plunge pool which was a delight. We were there for one night on Feb 10th and although I didn't get everyone's name that was there from arrival to departure, all staff from Security, to bartenders and servers in the dining room were beyond attentive and gracious. A special call out to Jamilia, who was beyond delightful and thoughtfully took care of us from the welcome Rum Punches while checking us in, to walking us through the resort offerings and showing us personally through to the suite. Her hospitality and warm welcome as well as her colleagues made us wish we had added another night or two. They also arranged our shuttle to the ferry and we expected to be dropped off outside the area and drag our bags but the driver accompanied by the resort colleague backed up right into the ferry and had our bags pulled out and stored for the trip. Sincerely the best experience and beyond my expectations. We look forward to returning for more nights to truly enjoy this incredible diamond of a resort with the best service ever!!! Warm and heartfelt Thank You from Paul and Victoria from San Diego!!!! Read less

Luxury Without the Noise — A True Hidden Gem From the moment we arrived by boat and were greeted at the dock with cool towels and rum punch, we knew The Liming Bequia was something special. The experience only got better from there. The staff is truly exceptional—Laniqua, Mikey, Miguel, Jamilia, Tyra and the GM, Ian Harris, went above and beyond to make our stay seamless, personal, and unforgettable. Every interaction felt thoughtful and genuine. The villas are stunning: private pools, impeccable design, and top-notch linens that rival any world-class resort. It’s luxury without being loud or flashy—elegant, calm, and intentional. We genuinely felt like we were staying on our own private island. Every detail has been considered. The floating breakfast was magnificent, and the candlelight dinner on the beach was pure magic—romantic, beautifully executed, and unforgettable. The chef deserves special recognition—the food at every meal was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and consistently exceptional from breakfast through dinner. Housekeeping deserves special mention. They somehow knew exactly when we stepped out for breakfast and returned the villa to perfection before we were back. Quiet, efficient, and flawless service. The Liming Bequia is not just a resort—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for privacy, refinement, and effortless luxury, I couldn’t recommend a more perfect place to visit. Truly a hidden gem. Quiet, small, elegant are the best words to describe this resort. Only a little more than a dozen rooms that are large and lavishly furnished. There is a small bay great for swimming.
