The hotel

The luxurious Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is built in the shadow of the awesome Twelve Apostles that extends down the Cape from Table Mountain. Just a few minutes from Camps Bay it enjoys one of the world's most beautiful settings and boasts uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. You may even spot a few whales! Admire the vistas from the Leopard Bar - the perfect place to unwind before dinner at the Azure Restaurant, which serves delicious international fare with a South African slant! The hotel also has a small cinema, an amazing spa (including an outdoor mountain gazebo!) - or you can enjoy the local fauna and flora with hiking trails.

Where is it

Around 5-minutes drive along the coast road from Camps Bay, with fantastic golden beaches close by. Transfer time from Cape Town Airport: 30 minutes.

Classic Rooms feature a private patio overlooking the gardens, with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Milkwood Rooms are located at the heart of the hotel featuring easy access to the pool, with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Mountain Facing Rooms offer sweeping views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range, with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Luxury Rooms are larger in size and feature views of either the Atlantic Ocean or the Table Mountain National Park, with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Superior Sea Facing Rooms feature a sunken lounge area, with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

One Bedroom Suites feature a separate lounge, and bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Sea Facing Suites feature a large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, separate lounge, and bedroom with either 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child.

Fantastic experience. Loved the outdoor heated pool with Atlantic sea view. Staff well trained and friendly. The 7km scenic mountain walk is a bonus.

My massage therapist, Buyi was amazing. She had a warm energy to her and immediately made me feel comfortable. The pressure she applied was just right (I’m someone who is never quite happy cause it’s either too soft or too much pressure). I wish I could capture the fragrances in a picture! Not just luxury to the eye or tastebuds or the experience. The fragrances along every corridor is a feast to the nose! The staff’s friendliness and just the all round attention to detail and nothing asked is too much! I will be back!

Both breakfast and dinner at Azure Restaurant were a total feast! The hotel’s location is outstanding, offering unique views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean simultaneously. We also found the shuttle service to Camps Bay and the Waterfront very practical and comfortable. The staff is very helpfull and always smiling. Our overall stay was very satisfying; the only minor drawback was the road noise in the early mornings. Read less

Ive rated 5 stars but would rates this higher if possible! We have been made so welcome by every member of staff, the food has been divine, the location is simply stunning! If you need somewhere to unwind, or be in awe and explore - 12 Apostles, Cape Town!
