Garden Rooms are nestled in the natural island gardens, with a private porch, privacy screen between each room and easy access to the island’s facilities. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child, or 3 adults.

Full Board: Inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the buffet restaurants.

Jacuzzi Beach Villas offer Maldivian inspired beach living with views of the lagoon, private sundeck and Jacuzzi for two, with a private walled-in outdoor area. These villas are located in the adults’ only area and exclusively for guest over 18. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Jacuzzi Water Villas are over-water villas with a private sundeck, with stairs leading into the sea. These villas are exclusively for guests aged 18 years and older. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Our Little Piece of Paradise

We have travelled to many beautiful places around the world, but this was truly one of the very best experiences we have ever had. Everything about this resort was exceptional. The service was outstanding, the island itself was absolutely stunning, and our villa directly on the beach was pure luxury. Waking up just steps from the ocean felt like a dream. The snorkeling was simply phenomenal – an amazing house reef, huge numbers of colourful fish, and even many small sharks swimming nearby. It was an unforgettable experience unlike anything we have seen before. Everything was super, super, super. We would highly recommend this paradise to anyone looking for a perfect holiday. Read less

The great Vilamendhoo experience

A great relaxing location for diving, appreciating good food and spending quality time with the family. Staff service is excellent and everyone is very friendly.

A few minor improvements needed

We stayed in a Stand Alone Beach Villa for 2 weeks March/April 2026 The room was very good, very large bed, lots of storage, kept clean and had zero complaints with the room at all. The outside shower had a large rail for ganging wet clothes. Reception staff were excellent. Anything we needed like a 3rd chair or us locking ourselves out was sorted very quickly The snorkelling was amazing on the island. We have been now to 4 islands including Lily Beach next door and we saw way more at Vilamendhoo. So if snorkelling is your thing then you will not be disappointed. We did 3 trips. One turtle trip / waste of time you see them better on the island, and the half day Manta trip which was an experience we will never forget for all the right reasons The table service at the bars was incredible and the AIP package had lots of good mocktails to drink. We ate slot at the Asian Wok where we found the food to be very good and at the bar where the burgers and pannizza’s were also very good. The full moon dinner on the beach was a highlight for the lobster alone! Where it could be better. The food at the buffet was always good quality but often repetitive and not a whole lot of choice for an island with so many rooms. I would love to see how it if this is improved after the refurb. It was probably the most lacking buffet of any resort anywhere I have been to. Also the fact you cannot get AI drinks at the family pool is ridiculous when you can at the adult only pool. And they refused to fill up my stanly with coke at the main bar so I could take that to the pool. I will be keeping an eye on what happens after the refurb as would certainly go back if the food at the buffet had more options. Read less

Cannot wait to return

This resort was spectacular. We stayed in the over water jacuzzi villa, it was very spacious, immaculate, and private. We loved the deck looking into the water in the evening could see rays, reef shark and fish. The house reef was amazing, it was like snorkeling in a fish tank. The food was also wonderful! The buffet was varied and delicious, and the service was professional and friendly. We looked forward to seeing chef AvoyPaul and our server, Misbah, they made the dining experience even better. We enjoyed both Asian Wok and Hot Rock, restaurants on the property, both excellent. We would enjoy a cocktail before dinner each night, and the bartender and wait staff was always attentive. Diving group was also excellent.We will be back! Read less

This was already our fourth visit to Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa, and once again our expectations were exceeded in every way. We stayed in an Adjoining Beach Villa that was spotless, clean, and very well maintained – a place where you instantly feel at home. We would especially like to highlight the entire staff: every single team member is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. From the reception team to the gardeners, the waiters, the kitchen crew, and all the staff working behind the scenes – everyone contributes to making the stay truly exceptional. You can feel the warmth and the family-like atmosphere in every interaction, which makes this resort so special. The culinary experience was also outstanding. The food was excellent, varied, and of very high quality. With our all-inclusive package, we were able to fully enjoy the fantastic meals and especially the delicious cocktails. Another highlight were the organized excursions – beautifully arranged and unforgettable. Our trip with Ocean Discovery in particular was perfectly organized and a truly unique experience. The house reef is a paradise for snorkeling and amazed us with its diversity. Each day was perfectly rounded off with wonderful evening entertainment. The spa experience was also wonderful. The massages were highly professional and deeply relaxing. We especially enjoyed the couple’s massage, which was a special experience that we will remember for a long time. A very special thank you also goes to our waiter, who was not only incredibly attentive but also absolutely professional in every aspect. He took perfect care of us and shared interesting insights about the country and its people – making our stay even more personal and memorable. What truly makes this resort unique, however, is the feeling you leave with: you arrive as a guest and leave as family and friends. The entire team goes above and beyond, anticipating your every wish with genuine care and dedication. All in all, we once again had an unforgettable holiday at Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa. The combination of excellent service, a warm and familiar atmosphere, and a stunning setting makes this place truly special. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Read less
