I’ve stayed at Aria many times, and it was once my favorite property in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, over my last few visits, I’ve noticed a steady decline, and my most recent stay highlighted several ongoing concerns. We completed mobile check-in prior to arrival and checked in again around 9:00 a.m. at the Suite Lounge. The staff member who initially assisted us was excellent and took the time to note our request for a higher floor not facing the Strip due to significant noise issues on a previous stay. While a suitable room was discussed, our reservation was reassigned multiple times without explanation, resulting in confusion and a delayed room release well after 3:00 p.m. Although a $200 credit was provided and appreciated, this was nearly the same experience I had on my prior visit, which suggests a broader process issue rather than an isolated incident. Once in the room, there were maintenance problems—including a broken toilet seat and curtains that would not close—which were reported but never resolved during our stay. For a property positioned at this level, this was disappointing. The casino experience was also a factor. There were many closed tables, a heavy reliance on 6/5 blackjack with continuous shuffle machines, and high minimums paired with unfavorable odds. This led us to leave the property after two days to play elsewhere. I don’t ask for much, but I do want to feel appreciated as a returning guest. Aria still has many strong points, particularly the professionalism of much of the staff and the quality of the dining options. However, between the repeated check-in issues, unresolved room maintenance, diminished table game offerings, and an MGM Rewards program that increasingly favors slot play over table players, I’m seriously reconsidering future stays and will most likely choose another property on my next trip. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that management is aware of these patterns and can address them, as Aria was once a place I went out of my way to return to. Read less

First off, despite my misgivings, I still enjoy Aria because of its poker room and proximity to Bellagio. That said, there are some issues that erode Aria’s image. First and most disturbing, I left a leather jacket on one of my last stays. Instead of turning it in, the housekeeping staff kept it. That jacket had significant monetary and sentimental value. For them not to turn it in is inexcusable to me. Second, the hotel is showing its age. Fixtures are broken or cracked. Sink clogged. Picture fallen off its mount. All in one room. It’s as if the management has decided it’s not worth the money to upkeep the facilities. It’s my hope management will read this and make the necessary changes, because Aria has a lot going for it. I arrived in town for a business trip, and while walking back to my room I heard the unmistakable sound of a saxophone. Amid the bustle of guests checking in, heading into the casino, or making their way to the bar, there stood Justin—playing the sax in the Aria lobby bar with full-bodied enthusiasm. His instrument seemed like an extension of himself. He engaged guests effortlessly and performed as if he were in front of a packed auditorium, bringing heart and intensity to every song. I had the chance to speak with Justin during one of his breaks, and his love for both his craft and the opportunity to perform was completely contagious. A real musician, playing with true soul in the lobby of the Aria, Justin is not to be missed. Every so often, it’s worth stopping for a moment to appreciate genuine talent. Just before encountering Justin, I’d had a fantastic massage with Lee, also at the Aria. If you’re looking for a firm massage from a warm, friendly, and deeply skilled masseuse, Lee is absolutely someone to request. Simply a delight Read less

We stayed December 29-January 1st in a Deluxe King using a 3 night free room offer through MGM. First mistake was doing online check-in. We waited until we got there to see if there were long lines and there were so we hesitatingly did online check-in. My concerns were right on - we ended up on the 3rd floor (lowest floor) at the very end of a long, maze like hallway. My husband didn’t care what floor we were on so we accepted the room mainly because we got keys immediately. The set up for the floors is the craziest I’ve ever seen. I’m sure it’s better if you are close to the elevator but, holy cow, it’s like a maze. Although, they have signs posted, you have to be a darn mathematician to figure it out. The hallways are curved so you come to an intersection and can go left, right or straight- we got lost every single time we went back to our room! I even took pictures of landmarks and signs but that didn’t help. Our room was OK - clean and no big complaints but it’s showing its wear and tear. We finally got the auto curtains to work using the switch on the wall. One big issue was the light coming in through the sides of the curtains. Luckily, we both had night shades or it would’ve been really hard to sleep. The casino slots treated us really well! I won over 1000.00 twice on the same penny machine and my husband won more than that on a Mo Mummy penny machine. We did better on slots at the Aria than other casinos - which surprised us due to reviews about tight slots there. One good thing about the Aria is the location. Very easy to walk through the Crystal Shops out the door and onto the bridge to the Cosmo or across the street. We also found the walkway to the Park MGM which was handy due to the rain on New Year’s Eve. We saw Mad Apple at NYNY - it was just OK - a smaller Cirque type variety show and kind of cheesy. We actually made it to midnight on the 31st and walked outside to the taxi area and joined a large crowd to see the fireworks. It was rainy so a lot of folks were in the casino beforehand and it was crazy busy. The rain put a damper on the strip street festivities but folks still seemed to have fun. It was our first time in Vegas over the holiday and we really enjoyed it. Aria hotel has probably seen the last of us - it shouldn’t be that hard to find your room! But, we will for sure gamble there again! I know we were lucky and most likely won’t win like we did but it sure was fun!! Read less
