Caesars Palace

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

This Las Vegas legend hasn’t outlasted many of its neighbours by accident. Look beyond its decadent glory-of-Rome exterior and you’ll find supremely well-appointed, contemporary rooms and suites without a whiff of white marble overkill. There are few Vegas resorts that can hold a Roman candle to Caesar’s casino and gaming options, while foodies could happily spend days ticking off the relaxed and upscale eateries on offer. Likewise, if retail therapy is on your mind, the resort’s Forum Shops is an opulent mall that’s been dubbed ‘The Shopping Wonder of the World’. And did we mention that Caesar’s Palace continues to host the grandest of grand Vegas performers such as Adele at its 4,000 plus seater Colosseum stadium?

Received a free upgrade from a Deluxe to a Studio so was very pleased. The only downside was trying to get the towels and the room cleaned/made up. 2 out of 7 nights we didn’t get towels for showering until around 9pm. The hotel has a good atmosphere and very clean. We enjoyed the bars and restaurants. Check in and out was busy but didn’t take a very long time. We didn’t have problems with over charging and didn’t open the fridge or touch the snacks displays so wasn’t caught out. My only real disappointment was the pool area was over crowded and full of non residents and almost impossible to get sunbeds for a long time. Sitting on the floor on towels was not what we paid for at Caesars. Security checking bags going into the pool area was also hit and miss, so I didn’t quite understand the point when we were asked on the odd occasion. Read less

First time staying at Ceasars after being to Vegas many times before. Hotel was lovely inside and very clean. Took a day or so to work my way around it but after that it was super easy to locate everything. Swimming pools were stunning but did lack free beds. Queues for the beds started about 8.30am for a 9am opening. Room was lovely. Stayed in Octavious tower. Close to pool but a good 7/8 min walk to the strip. Felt a little cheated as my initial room was not ready when I arrived (arrived at 9pm!) so was offered an upgrade. Stupidly I took it and paid the $50 extra per night when I have since heard if I knocked it back and asked for my original room that was not ready i would probably have gotten it free. My bad but worth noting. Octavious tower was very quiet so great for peace and quiet. Value for money I think was fair overall. Read less

We just checked in and had an amazing experience with Alexander. He was very friendly and talkative and assisted us with an amazing room upgrade. Very good first impressions of the resort. We are excited for the week ahead! Water was bought to us in the queue and it was a very quick and easy process. Felt very luxurious.

The only good part of this stay was the tub. Then I had my car attempted to be open 3 times, security claiming that the cars are always being attempted to be open when they are charging ??? Yet there’s no one actively watching this area nor was my car charging the last attempt. They do not check on the ice machines being down, on the 25th floor we had no ice or was able to go to other floors to get ice. Read less
