Nice hotel off the strip with no true front entrance but easy 10 minute walk to strip. POOL area is smaller for large hotel with families - Honestly I paid good money and Hilton member but felt like a criminal to have my pool bags searched everytime i went into pool ares - Come on HILTON and VEGAS your making enough money on very OVERPRICED DRINKS AND FOOD you really are going to be so picky that a person cant bring a closed bottle of coke into pool or thermos of water - in this heat you need liquids especially children yet DENIED any food or drinks in the pool are - so you cant buy chipolte in attached shops and bring it to eat by the pool which is completely ridiculous for a paying hilton member also cant bring in bag of nuts or any snacks and they dont even sell it by pool so this shows HILTON VEGAS lack of caring about the comfort and convenience of their guests! I didnt get search at the WYNN hotel anytime. Also the Pool has NO shade so you literally Roast in sun and HILTON doesnt care - hay but if you want to have some shade and save your skin and life you have to PAY! Pay for umbrellas is ridiculous with the high room overall prices and resort fees how about provide UMBRELLAS FOR YOUR GUESTS AT POOL INSTEAD OF LONG DISTANCE PHONE CALLS WHICH IS A JOKE! Way to get more of your money with giving you nothing! AT least plant MORE TREES - not only do tress provide shade but give a much better overall look to pool area then concrete hot cement top and 4 lifeguards are overkill - spend less on them and more on trees and umbrellas HILTON GRAND VACATIONS- make the pool more aesthetic since its just a small plain pool thats very shallow! NOT great for kids as there is nothing to do but wade in cold water. Check in people are not the nicest and work in customer service but should be trained by HILTON to PROVIDE GOOD customer service! Overall Hilton Grand Vacations Elara Vegas is just ok place the rooms are spacious and having kitchen is best but thats where it stops. In vegas pool time is very important especially for families and this pool lacks fun, lacks any kind of shade, and lacks Chaise loungers - I dont want to wake up crack of dawn to get to pool at 8 am when they open to get a chair to sit on when I pay a RESORT FEE - they have plenty of space for so many more loungers to accommodate their Hilton guests yet they choose NOT to supply you with that and god forbid you move a chair another ridiculous rule - STOP all the bogus pool rules this is vegas let us enjoy a summer vacation! Wont return to due pool. Read less

Our stay at the Elara was wonderful! We spent seven nights in a king studio room. The room was spacious, with a living room area containing a couch and swivel chair and coffee table and stool. This area was facing a wall to wall, floor to ceiling window. We had a fantastic view of the Paris Hotel and the ever-changing colors of the Sphere! The view was a highlight of our trip. There was a small kitchenette where we made coffee each morning (also had a frig, microwave, dishwasher and dishes). The bathroom looked brand new, everything was pristine! A desk was in the room and a closet - lots of room to move about. We never felt cramped. Service throughout the hotel was wonderful, housekeeping very responsive. We loved that this was a non casino hotel, it was a nice quiet haven after a day of noise and crowds. The pool area was very nice, Starbucks in the lobby and of course the convenience of the Miracle Mile shops. Location can’t be beat. (And no, there was no pressure to attend a presentation. They asked once at check in, we politely said we weren’t interested, and that was the end of it. ). There were NO negatives for us at the Elara! Read less

Beautiful hotel one block from the strip. However, if you go through the attached Miracle Mile Mall, you can exit right onto the strip. The pool looked great but we just looked and didn't go in. The room was large, we had a one bedroom and seemed larger than other resorts we've stayed at. The showerhead was nice and high enough that I didn't have to duck down which is always a plus. The room was very quiet with minimal sound from outside and no sound from other rooms. The room was clean with no complaints. The only downside was the view was out on the parking lot since we were only on the 4th floor. Would definitely stay again next time we visit Vegas. Read less
