Pleasant hotel in convenient area close to public transport. Friendly staff, very efficient. Rooms clean and well maintained. We were on floor 29, but no problems as the elevator service was quick and frequent. Good value overall for a 5 star hotel compared to many in Singapore that are far more expensive

The hotel has very well equipped gym with hammer machines and actual squat rack, bench press, bar bells, dumbbells, treadmills. It's a real gym. Plus they have an outside pool if you want to get a few laps in. Air conditioning works and is clean air. The only complaint I had on my last trip was the Riverside Terrace restaurant. I ordered the ribeye steak and it came out looking and tasting like it had been defrosted rapidly and boiled before putting on the grill. I could barely cut it and it was chewy. When I brought it to their attention, they were very dismissive. That aside the hotel is great and I'll be back soon. Vincent at reception will look after you and is a true gentleman if you need any assistance. Read less

We had a lovely two week stay at the Grand Copthorne. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and were greeted with a celebratory cake when we arrived. Our room was on the 15th floor and had a great view of the river. The room was extremely comfortable and clean and the housekeeping service exemplary. We only had breakfast on our first morning but the choice was varied and plentiful. The staff were all very courteous, from the doormen to the reception staff. My only very minor observation would be that the swimming pool area could be given a little tlc. The sunbed cushions are on the cusp of needing replacement and we never saw anyone manning the outdoor bar. It would be nice to be able to get a drink whilst relaxing. But even this does not deserve a loss of a star. We really enjoyed our stay and if we return we will most definitely stay here again. Read less
