As synonymous with Boston as the eponymous tea party and cream pie, Hilton Boston Park Plaza has been a landmark on the city’s hotel circuit since it opened 90 years ago. Reinterpreted for the 21st century traveller with a $100 million mega-makeover, it now adds contemporary décor and mod-cons to its timeless elegance. And you’re in good company, with all bar two US Presidents staying here since it opened. It’s easy to see why, with a top-drawer location near Boston Common. Of course, they wouldn’t all have experienced today’s attractions, which include a mammoth 20,000 SF Health Club, the nightly cocktail hour (well 5 hours) in the Library, and the New England inspired dining of its Off the Common restaurant, with Boston’s signature lobster rolls a menu favourite.

Our arrival and check in were perfect! The hotel and property are absolutely gorgeous! From Devon at the front desk (an amazing person to welcome us), to Mr. Alex, manager from food and beverage, we were treated like friends!
Could not have asked for a better first visit to Boston.

We came for the World Cup! I cannot say enough about one staff member Caroline in housekeeping . She was outstanding and helpful with navigating and new city. She told us all about the city and shared her experiences. It was so nice to connect with someone so helpful. She also kept our room beautiful!!! She needs a promotion ❤️
Ok overall. Great location. Buffet disappointing.

Stayed here during World Cup. Location is fantastic. Right next to a beautiful park and walking distance to Newbury street with a lot of shops and restaurants. Hotel was good. Stayed here during World Cup. Location is fantastic. Right next to a beautiful park and walking distance to Newbury street with a lot of shops and restaurants. Hotel was good. Rooms are small for family of 4 but we made it work. Typical city hotel room. Service was good. Ranjan was helpful in getting us new towels and extra blankets. I would NOT recommend the buffet for 40/pp. We included it in our rate and it was a mistake. The A la carte menu is better and cheaper. The buffet is a glorified continental breakfast with powder eggs, bacon, sausage some pastries, yogurt, and fruits.. for the price I expected a lot better. Very disappointing.

We have had such a wonderful stay at the Hilton Park Plaza for my birthday weekend! From the moment we arrived, Singh, the gentleman checking us in found out it was my birthday and surprised us with a gift card to the bar, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. Later, while we were sitting in the lobby, I needed a cup of coffee and the manager, Trina, at the bar kindly told me not to worry about paying and brought me a to-go cup.
The hotel itself is extremely clean, the lobby area is beautiful and inviting, and the location could not be better — just one block from Boston Common and a short walk to Newbury Street for shopping. It has been such a fun and memorable birthday weekend, and the staff has made us feel so welcomed. Highly recommend!
