Our first morning there started with the sounds of drills and hammer directly on the other side of our wall. My request to move rooms or stall the construction were denied. That afternoon when returned to hotel our entire floor was filled with sanding dust. Horrible preparation and planning for proper ventilation led to our family covering our faces just to transit through our floor. Absolutely unacceptable for a Hyatt. Read less

Booked a king+double room but was given a two-double room. The person at the front desk was able to take the destination fee off but it was more than an inconvenience with 4 people including 12 and 9 year old children. The bathroom wasn't dirty but it by no means could be considered clean. I guess prices are just inflated in SF but for what I paid… Read more

We had a good stay. We were on the 3rd floor where they are actively renovating rooms but we were down two long hallways in opposite direction so it didn’t affect us. All interactions with staff were good. Room was decent size, clean and the beds/sheets were very comfortable. Room had a mini fridge and safe but no coffee maker. Bathroom was clean, large and well stocked with towels and the shampoo and body wash. Didn’t check out the pool or fitness center as the directions posted to get there seemed confusing due to the construction. Two things that annoyed us. The parking fee is now $65 per night plus tax. I know it is Fisherman’s Wharf but come on. Also if you have 2 beds in a room they need to be at least queen size. 2 adults in a full size bed is very tight. Other than that, happy with our stay and loved that a lot of tourist attractions are within walking distance of hotel. Read less

It was a horrible experience for me and my family. I fully regret my stay. At the time of the booking there was a simple mention of renovation but it should be explicitly stated that the hotel is an active construction site with work spreading almost everywhere. As a paying guest, I could not believe witnessing workers walk in the same hallways with us, leaving debris on the floor, rooms being demolished have open doors, smoke detectors at work areas are wrapped in ziplocs, workers carrying buckets through front door, construction materials and toolboxes spread throughout and drilling next to our room starting right at 8 am with zero care about a paying guest with family staying next door. The management should be ashamed for letting these rooms to be sold , not isolating the work areas and not fully disclosing the extent of renovation at the time of booking. Read less
