What does set this hotel apart is the staff; and they’re one of the reasons I’m slowly moving to Hyatts instead of continuing to grow my lifetime Gold status with Marriott. Probably also why I’m posting this as my daughter loved her stay so much due to the team here. The front desk, at 8pm, took the time to welcome us, walk us through all the befits, and gave my daughter a coloring book and told us about all the cool kid friendly activities there were to do. We couldn’t figure out the towel machine since I didn’t have the QR code room key, and the bar tender ran over and helped us get towels. I don’t like having turndown service, but someone ran into me while I was leaving and offered to help however they could if I didn’t want them making my bed.
All to say, this was a good hotel, some minor things I didn’t like, but even without status they treated my family better than how we get treated after years of loyalty with Marriott. I normally don’t post reviews, and after this stay probably won’t again, but wanted to make sure the staff was recognized for being amazing.

The room was not clean (e.g., walls, carpet, mini lamp shades were dusty) nor up to the standards of a Hyatt property, especially one in such a prime location. House keeping needs to be mindful of cleaning and attending to the aforementioned issues. These rooms need to be updated and thoroughly cleaned! Parking is expensive.
