No parking, room sink not working

Quite a frustrating experience.
I don’t believe this hotel is equipped to function at higher volumes. Lots of foreseeable things went wrong.

I don’t believe this hotel is equipped to function at higher volumes. Lots of foreseeable things went wrong.
On this particular day there was also a high school prom onsite as well. For regular guests, this meant no parking at all.
On this same day, after unpacking everything, we discovered that our sink was clogged and not draining. The repair man was supposed to fix it while we were out to dinner.
Upon returning from dinner at 8pm and not finding parking for 30 minutes, we returned to our room to find that the sink had gotten worst.
At this point, we asked for a second repair but was told it would take over one hour. Mind you, this time is now 9 pm and our 6 month old needed to sleep.
We therefore asked for a room change and was initially given a room on the opposite side of the facility. After calling a second time to the front they were able to find us a closer room to relocate all our stuff to. Unfortunately the room was a downgrade from the room we act booked but by this time it was already 9:30pm and our baby needed to sleep.
For the money we paid, we expected a better experience. Don’t think we’ll be coming back here.

The rooms were adequate. The patio was so encroached with plants that we could not even sit on.It definitely not worth $400 a night could have stayed at the beach for that. The wait staff at the restaurant were wearing jeans

We continue to choose this hotel because of the high level of service, the beautiful gold course view rooms, and the restaurant/bar. We might get down here twice a year, but Jenna treats us like we come in all the time. Her, Jaime, and the whole team serve up delicious drinks and food with a smile. They really elevate the experience for hotel…

Great place to land while we were visiting colleges and playing golf! Tucked in the trees just off the highway, we felt safe and cozy and welcomed.
