The hotel

Planning to pay Mickey a visit at Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure? Then the Hyatt Regency Orange County can be the perfect respite for you and your family. There’s even a shuttle bus to take you there and bring you back again. We love the Kids Suites, which give parents and children their own space to chill out. And the fire pit on the third-floor sports deck is a great place for a glass of something, and to toast marshmallows and s’mores under the stars. Add an on-site brewhouse and loads of attractions nearby, and you have everything you need for your O.C. adventure.

We had a great family stay here as Hyatt Globalist members visiting Disneyland. The staff members Michael and Melissa were wonderful and very helpful at breakfast with our child. The Disney shuttle bus worked well and on time.

My husband had an expiring category 1-4 free night award, so we decided to spend a Friday night near the Grove of Anaheim, where we had tickets to see Josh Johnson. We were upgraded to a renovated King executive suite, it was very spacious for the two of us. It overlooked the atrium. Since he is Globalist, our breakfast was included. It was a choice of the breakfast buffet or anything off the menu. We opted for the buffet. There’s also a $10 food and beverage credit along with a free s’mores kit. They had a huge outdoor recreation area, near the pool. It’s a very family friendly hotel, five minutes from Disneyland. Valet parking was also waived for Globalist. Read less

A very nice hotel, room was big and comfortable. Room has a lack of electric outlets, making it difficult for a family. Pool area and sports section is very nice and a big addition for a vacation. Not a fan of the buffet or restaurant, both overpriced. I have stayed at different Hyatt hotels; this specific one is a bit pricey compared to others… Read more
A very nice hotel, room was big and comfortable. Room has a lack of electric outlets, making it difficult for a family. Pool area and sports section is very nice and a big addition for a vacation. Not a fan of the buffet or restaurant, both overpriced. I have stayed at different Hyatt hotels; this specific one is a bit pricey compared to others that have same type of accommodations. Keep in mind no breakfast, nor parking offered and both of these add a considerable amount to the daily price. Read less

We just returned from one of the best hotel stays our family has ever had, thanks to the incredible team at the Hyatt Regency Orange County — especially the amazing General Manager, Kristine Hall. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the kindness and generosity we experienced. Kristine graciously upgraded us to the most spacious suite we’ve ever stayed in, and also treated our friends to a beautiful executive suite. She even arranged thoughtful amenities that became our perfect Disneyland snacks. The shuttle to and from Disneyland that transportation effortless. Every gesture was so thoughtful and deeply appreciated — nothing was taken for granted. As always, the staff made our stay unforgettable. Melisa and Jesus were attentive and personable, and the executive chef (whose name I regretfully forgot) surprised our son with cookies and even a special kitchen tour! Sara remembered my other son’s need for an extra large oatmeal bowl every morning... such a small but meaningful detail. Salvador was cheerful and efficient with our beverages. Zachary always greeted us with a smile. Monica and Francisco at the omelet station impressed us with their precision and warmth. We also adored Cindy at the deli — always so sweet and genuine. We all slept wonderfully in our beautiful suite, and having multiple bathrooms made our busy Disneyland mornings so much easier. It was simply the perfect home base for our trip... comfortable, welcoming, and full of heart. Thank you again to Kristine and the entire team for creating such a memorable experience. Our family is so grateful, and we’re already talking about coming back in December! Read less
