Where is it

Located at Green Point, right along the Mouille Point promenade and within walking distance to the V&A Waterfront. The city sightseeing Hop On/Off bus stops directly outside the hotel. Transfer time from Cape Town Airport: 30 minutes.

All with views of either the Atlantic Ocean or golf course and Cape Town stadium, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar fridge, safe and complimentary WiFi access. Side View Rooms with a partial sea view and a double bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Stadium/Mountain View Rooms consist of a living area and views of the Cape Town Stadium or golf course and a double bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sea View Rooms also have a living area and views of the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island and a double bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Superior Rooms are divided on 2 levels with a main bedroom on the ground floor and sitting area with a sleeper sofa on the first floor. Both levels feature a balcony and either sea or golf course views.

Nice easy-going place, the rooms are spacious (even if not totally soundproof and lacking some lights) and the staff is really caring and helpful!

Fantastic experience. Such a nice Hotel and the cafe below is really adding to the experience. One of the most incredible breakfast’s I ever had - which was included in the room rate. Special praize to the gentleman that checked us in on the 23rd September around 10:45. So effecient and friendly. Thank you!!

Very happy. Staff were friendly. Good service. Will go there again. Room did not have a view but the place was clean. We were in room 108. If I could make a maintenance call, I can mention the following, out of love. Sorry, I am a maintenance engineer. The wash basin drain in the bathroom did not seal. There was also not enough "two prong" plugs… Read more

If I could make a maintenance call, I can mention the following, out of love. Sorry, I am a maintenance engineer. The wash basin drain in the bathroom did not seal. There was also not enough "two prong" plugs in the room. Also the bathroom extractor fan did not work. Hence the fog buildup when you shower. Guys this is small stuff but also important. I would still go there next time. I live in Langebaan. Read less

Our room was clean and tidy and when we arrived the windows were very dirty which obscured our sea view. The windows did get cleaned during our stay which made a bid difference. Our room was clean and tidy and when we arrived the windows were very dirty which obscured our sea view. The windows did get cleaned during our stay which made a bid difference. The room was a bit dated and in need of a freshen up. Our main negative experience was that the restaurant attached to the hotel (which is amazing!) opens for breakfast at 7am. Our room was directly above the outside terrace so we were disturbed at 6am each morning by the noise of tables and chairs being dragged around. The staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cleaned each day, but the morning noise would put us off returning if we’re ever in Cape Town again. Read less

Had a fantastic stay at the La Splendida. The staff amazing. The location right by the sea. The vibe in the hotel and restaurant full of laughter and positive attitudes. Preston at the front desk was fantastic in sorting out any concerns and with a fabulous smile. Thanks Mate. Alnoor.
