If I could give this zero stars, I would. I do NOT recommend this hotel whatsoever. First, the check in clerk didn’t realize that I booked with my Amex and she tried to sell me an upgrade. Booking with Fine Resorts and Hotels should have given me an upgrade, when available which it was. Second, because the clerk didn’t acknowledge I used my Amex to book, my credits didn’t get credited on my bill. I noticed this when I got home and looked at the bill closely. I had a feeling something was going to be off. I had to call three different numbers just to get through to Billing- terrible customer service. Third, the hotel is so run-down and old that the “upgrade” provided is only called an upgrade because of an air purifier and new tiles in the bathroom. This makes me wonder what a standard room looks like. Fourth, the carpets felt dirty and the shower tiles were slimy. No slippers were provided. Fifth, for the amount of money spent for two nights, there wasn’t even any coffee or tea despite the fact that there is a cheaper version Nespresso in the room. Sixth, the restaurants in the hotel are incredibly greasy and over-priced. All three meals were terrible. Finally, the only positive during my stay was the close proximity to the stadium. My final thoughts: if you can, stay at a hotel more north, like the Aria or Waldorf, and walk. I will never stay at this hotel again. Read less

This is our 3rd time staying at Mandalay Bay, this time with our teenager. Check in and check out was fast and could. Nor have been any easier. You can check in online days earlier than your arrival and get notified when your room is ready. You use the QR code sent to your phone to program your room key and you’re all set. You can program up to seven keys. We did not have to wait in any line or seek help from any staff during our stay so I can’t speak of the quality of customer service. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Separate bath and shower with instant hot water and good water pressure, dual sinks, view of Allegiant Stadium, no fridge, no microwave, no robes. Don’t touch any of the refreshments as they are all censored and will be charged to your room if any movement is detected. Our teen was over joyed to see there was a beach and lazy river on the property. There is also a wave pool which gets very crowded but still fun if you’re just looking for a dip in the water. It is definitely tailored to attract families as kids are everywhere which means if you’re looking for a quiet get away, this probably isn’t the place you’ll be happiest with. There are a few Starbucks locations on the property, all of which were always busy in the morning, but no more than what you would expect. Lots of restaurants and 24 hour room service. Everything is, of course, expensive but you have to go to Vegas planning to spend money anyway. A small mall of shops, nothing impressive or must see, especially when there are the shops at Venetian, Bellagio, and the mall so close by to go to. We actually came to Vegas for a concert at Allegiant Stadium and the fact that you can walk there from the hotel worked out well for us. The tram to Excalibur and Luxor is convenient to get to the Strip but since Mandalay Bay is at the end, there is a lot of walking if you want to explore. I believe you can catch other trams along the way to get you down to the Forum Shops or near the Bellagio. But still, expect a ton of walking. We ended up taking taxis which averaged $15-$25 to/from the middle of the Strip. Since we were with our child, one of the features we liked about Mandalay Bay was that it is located on the Strip but away from the partying and adult energy you find at the other centrally located resorts. Would definitely recommend Mandalay Bay if you’re traveling with children or have an event at Allegiant Stadium. Read less

Rooms were great, bed was so comfortable! It was pretty expensive, and the food was ridiculously expensive. VERY clean! IT was a little noisy music wise but the music was good, They played BTS songs! Bathroom products were fine, but I expected higher quality for the price. They were the same ones The Plaza use, so Meh. Service was excellent. Esp. at the Market! I have to say, The BTS fans made this stay so much fun and lively! Not sure I would have been as happy their without them. Read less

I am writing to formally document a serious health and safety issue that I and my 13 year old daughter experienced during our stay at Mandalay Bay from May 22nd through May 26, 2026. Our room number was 10-0116. Throughout the duration of our stay, the bathroom in our room emitted an intense and persistent sewer/methane gas odor. The smell was present continuously and was severe enough that I contacted the front desk on multiple occasions to request it be addressed. No resolution was provided. After the first call we made to report the concern, done within an hour of checking in, someone from maintenance came to the room. He commented that the ventilation system in the bathroom was also not working, he flushed the toilet, said he'd escalate the request, and that was it. No one else ever came in spite of repeated calls, in spite of an in-person meeting with the night manager at 3:30am on May 24th when, finding I could not sleep because of the smell and frustration, I got dressed and when to the front desk in person, determined to find someone who would actually help. The offgassing nor the ventilation were ever corrected and the windows in the room did not open. My daughter and I both experienced the following health symptoms during and immediately following our stay, consistent with hydrogen sulfide, sewer gas exposure: nausea, headache, and neck pain. These symptoms began before we departed and continued after returning home, requiring rest and over-the-counter medication to manage. In speaking with my doctor, I was urged to contact the Nevada Health Department to report this risk to the public. I have filed a complaint with the Southern Nevada Health District;s Hotel/Motel Division regarding this matter. Read less
