Horrible! The rooms had no coffee pot or microwave. They charged me an additional $65.50 per occupant, called it a room charge. I paid for the room completely and I paid for the room charge in advance but they charged me again. Not only that, but they also took all the fun out of gambling. The hotel is great. The rooms serve their purpose. Spacious, with decent bathrooms and great views. Beds were great and the staff worked hard to keep everything ticking over. The hotel was clean and the shopping on the casino level was great. Bars, restaurants and big name shops galore. The miracle mile shops are slightly more pricey than you’d pay normally but that’s seemingly the way businesses operate nowadays. The casino is vast and basically the same as every other casino in Vegas. The car park however, was a nightmare. Firstly, it couldn’t be any further from the hotel. Every day, I had to walk through the miracle mile shops for what felt like a literal mile…. And back at the end of the day. Not funny after driving to LA and back in a day. Otherwise, id recommend it. It’s a decent hotel if a little dated but looks and feels like vegas which is after all, what we want to feel when we stay. Read less

We didn't enjoy the stay as much as we'd hoped. On arrival after a 12 hour flight the welcome was poor, and felt like the reception staff were overworked and lacking any sense of interest in us. Our room was dated and tired and in desperate need of renovating, which I hope has happened by now. Although a non smoking room, it smelled like it had been at some time in the past. Bedside lights weren't plugged in but the bed was too heavy to move to get to the plug. Curtains were torn, falling off the runners so didn't shut properly. We tried numerous times in the first 2 days of our stay to speak to them but the queue to reception was always rammed with people either checking in or checking out, that we gave up. We tried to use the machines to report the issue but there was a technical fault and the man who tried to help didn't seem to have any knowledge. Given we were only there for 4 days we decided to leave it until we checked out. No coffee facilities as standard really annoyed me. You shouldn't have to pay extra for that as a basic service - but I guess that's because they want you downstairs in their restaurants. The facilities outside were good with a good choice of menu options for breakfasts and dinner and fairly reasonable in price. The swimming pool area is ok. Weird layout as we couldn't get a spot actually by the pool, just the terrace. Slow service on the pool bar as there was only one person working. As an environment it wasn't a place to relax and read a book, so take ear plugs for poolside if that's what you want. On check out we were greeted with the same lack of care or interest in our stay. Not asked if everything was OK or if we enjoyed our stay. And when we did report the issues with the room, the concierge made the assumption we were looking for a discount by saying 'we are not giving you a discount because you should have told us straight away'. I very swiftly advised him that we were not looking for a discount but had tried in person and through the service machines to report the issues without success, so we were giving feedback at check out so the next people who stayed didn't have what we did. Which was a tired, dark room, that smelled musty and needed a lot fixing in it. He didn't seem to care but said he'd report it. I decided to leave addressing their lack of hospitality skills on reception because at this point I just wanted our passports back to leave! Overall, Vegas is what you make of it filled with a lot of types of people. I'm sure the staff in these establishments work long hours for crappy pay. While we had a good time, the entire holiday was dampened by the unprofessionalism in hotel customer service on both our arrival and departure. Such a disappointment. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable. Read less
