04-20-26 $$$ Hotel rooms are clean. Check in was easy, casino floor was clean and busy. The dealers are friendly and helpful for first timers. The food at the Hollywood Cafe was good but sluggish on service. Parking is not user friendly. My biggest complaint and why I choice a 2-star rating is due to lack of security. Early this morning at about 0330 hrs. I heard loud pounding on a nearby room door. Then I heard "SHERIFF"S DEPARTMENT, OPEN THE DOOR! This went on for about three or four times. Another guest said he heard it too. He thought the Deputy was mule kicking the door because it was so loud. Then the door was opened and we guessed several Deputies entered the room. They were yelling, GET ON THE GROUND! Then it sounded like they doggie piled the guy or lady. It was hard to tell if they were after a man or women. When they eventually took away the prisoner he or she said they had a hard time walking. Prior to taking the prisoner away they stopped yelling so hearing what they were saying was hard to tell. This went on for about 45 minutes. I called the front desk and asked if they were aware of a law enforcement incident occurring on the south tower on the 30th floor. They person said no so I asked to be transferred to security. I spoke to security and they were not aware of anything or disturbance on the 30th floor in the south tower. I requested a foot patrol check on my floor and confirmed which room I was staying at (3026). My guest staying in room (3040) said he pretty much heard the something. Man, I will tell you from 0330 hours and on I could not sleep or sleep well. I was waiting for shots fired and coming through the walls. I was on pins and needles. Same with my guest. I spent over two thousand dollars for three nights and two rooms. At about 0800 hours I called security again for a status check. I spoke to JAY from the security dispatch center. Jay was unaware of anything occurring last shift. Jay said he just came on and was not debriefed of any incidents. I asked Jay for an incident number from my call (complaint) at 0330 hours. Jay said there wasn't a complaint listed not even for a foot patrol request last night. I'm sure something happened last night. I wasn't the only one who heard this. I sure they can check the lobby, parking lot, and elevator cameras for footage. Read less

It started off horrendous. The reservation system was down when we went to check in and the line was more than 2.5 hours long. Not fun. It should have been "all hands on deck" at the check in counter - ie even the GM should have been down helping. Customer service is definitely not a priority at this property. It should have been "all hands on deck" at the check in counter - ie even the GM should have been down helping. Customer service is definitely not a priority at this property. Then, when we finally got to our room, we noticed there was no coffee maker or microwave - which is standard at any hotel. When I called the front desk to ask - they said you need to be in a suite to have those items. The toilet in the bathroom is also tiny ie the size you would expect in a pre-school. And, the table in our room was broken. But they sure are proud to charge you a Resort Fee. When I asked what we got for the fee, I was told free internet. Seriously? Give me a break. It truly was disappointing! Stay elsewhere. Read less

Anything good about this place is canceled out due to the lack of running water they have. Seriously, it sucked coming back from a long night out to NO WATER. My husband called the front desk and we were told we would get a credit of $50 that I cannot seem to get whatsoever. I called their customer service phone number almost 2 weeks ago ( (877)… Read more

I called their customer service phone number almost 2 weeks ago ( (877) 333-9474.), was told to call back after 5-10 business days and now they’re telling me to call the billing department that is only open 7-3pm PST. Save yourself the time and the headache, don’t stay here. Read less

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst in Vegas for a family wedding. It was an ideal base centre strip due to many of those we travelled with staying at nearby hotels. PH is attached to Miracle Mile shops which offer a good variety of both stores and reasonably priced (for Vegas) food establishments. The rooms are OK although in need of a refresh. Air con was effective but the shower was lacking in pressure. Whilst our checkin experience was fine, a mid stay issue where we were locked out of our room due to a credit card being declined (despite this not being raised at checkin) left us feeling a lack of interest from the reception staff. Whilst not a huge issue, its about how problems are resolved and to show that you are listened to which is important. On this occasion, the staff member was completely disinterested and simply raised his voice to tell me the card was declined, rather than show interest or apologise for any inconvenience. We didn't eat within any restaurants but theres plenty of choice across the resort. The pool is a nice area but theres a distinct lack of sunbeds for the numbers of people accommodated at the hotel. Parking was absurd, we walked almost a half mile for public parking to get to the hotel. The parking was so confusing , we initially ended up walking through the mall before reaching the check-in desk. And after that we couldn’t figure out how to get back to our car. Self check in turned into a pain, the first kiosk was out of order. Took me a number of tries before I realize it wasn’t working properly. The second kiosk worked reasonably well until it was time to give me a key, I got the first one before it told me to see customer service, and then the kiosk said out of order !! And if that wasn’t enough, as we went to get to our room, there was a huge line in front of the 6 elevators. There’s No way to watch Netflix or prime, yes yes I know they don’t want you in your room. But come on !! For whatever reason, they closed the pool at 6 PM, hotel pools usually stay open until 10. Not to sound like I’m nitpicking at every little thing but there wasn’t one mirror in our room other than the bathroom. The one positive thing is, I did really enjoy the cabana . Read less
