From the moment we arrived we had a wonderful greeting and were made very welcome. Our room was big, with two Queen beds, kitchen area and bathroom. The kitchen had an oven/microwave and even a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and cutlery/crockery. There are also washing machines and dryers for guest use. The fitness room is pretty basic, 3 treadmills, bike and two other cardio machines, but it does have a good selection of free weights and an indoor pool. Fitness room is 24 hours and free, pool opens at 6am. My only issue was that there is no changing room attached to the pool, so if you're going to the gym you need to change in the restroom, and walk out to the foyer into the pool area - I didn't bring a robe, if I had this wouldn't have been a problem. Everything was spotless throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great with a good choice of food, and gluten free cereal and bread, the staff in the breakfast room were lovely, my only criticism would be the toasters take ages to give any colour to the bread, and given they ask you to be done with breakfast within 30 minutes, this detracts from the experience. We had a fab stay, and wouldn't hesitate to go back, and will definitely put Residence Inn on our list for stays at other locations. Read less

Stayed in 907 for 3 nights. Good bathroom but the water pressure wasn't all that. No problems with outside noise. The refrigerator was so clutch. Great location and a hearty continental breakfast that slightly changes each day (for example, one day there'd be unlimited bacon and another day would have unlimited breakfast sausages).

Residence Inn Downtown Vancouver is right in the heart of it all. I checked in and was greeted by Won, who noticed it was busy and kindly stepped in to assist me. Within minutes, I was checked in and relaxing in my room. I loved how the whole arrival felt warm and personal, which is rare in a busy downtown hotel. The service here is truly top notch. Having an agent like Won really made my day. He helped me sort out a complicated billing and gift card situation and made the whole thing effortless. The rooms are great, some with balconies, and they have all the amenities you would expect. I especially appreciated having a small kitchen in my room so I could cook if I felt like staying in. The hotel also has a 24 hour gym, pool, and hot tub. The convenience of the location combined with thoughtful touches made the stay feel so much easier than typical downtown travel. Overall, the hotel was great and I will choose to stay here again. Read less

We talked to the front desk lady, can’t remember her name, but she was there Nov 15, and explained what happened and she let us check out and didn’t charge us for that night. This was great customer service as we were already a bit upset. The hotel was really clean and comfortable, there is construction outside but it didn’t bother us. Breakfast was great and lots of variety. Read less
