Spiro the doorman made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. He had incredible energy and was beyond kind and helpful with suggests of where to go. We saw so much of the city while visiting (shed aquarium, cubs game, art museum, top of Hancock, architectural boat tour)… and when I asked my 2 daughters their highlight they said “Spiro giving… Read more

We saw so much of the city while visiting (shed aquarium, cubs game, art museum, top of Hancock, architectural boat tour)… and when I asked my 2 daughters their highlight they said “Spiro giving us a goodie bag when we arrived!” We will definitely be back again and hope to stay at Sonesta - the hotel was awesome, great location.. walked to most spots and right next to the EL to get to cubs game - but the main reason is Spiro.
