Zero customer service. Almost comical lack of care. JC/Jaycee an assistant dweeb mgr The WORST. Stay else where folks. This place is run by a European soccer star who doesn’t know squat about customer service

On arrival we asked if one of the rooms could have two beds in it, the agent told us that the hotel was full and that the only thing we could do was pay €15 a day for a “Z Bed” to be put in the room. We decided against that as that would be too uncomfy the agent explained that due to an event the hotel was full. That was totally fine :) however… Read more
On arrival we asked if one of the rooms could have two beds in it, the agent told us that the hotel was full and that the only thing we could do was pay €15 a day for a “Z Bed” to be put in the room. We decided against that as that would be too uncomfy the agent explained that due to an event the hotel was full. That was totally fine :) however then another guest was checking in and their agent was asking them if they wanted top floor, low floor etc and offered them a variety of rooms. Strange ….. however after a long day travelling we just wanted to get to our rooms. When you’re in Vegas a room is just to get some rest in. We made our way to our “only rooms” in the hotel. One of them was totally fine and the other was what can only be described as a total smoke house !!!! I suffer from severe asthma and the room smelled so powerful of weed like someone had just smoked 10 joints in the room, I called reception waited 25 mins then had to give up and make my way to reception I could actually feel my chest tighten the smoke was that strong and I could not sit in the room any longer I then spoke with another agent on front desk who said she would speak to the manager after 10 mins the front desk agent came back and we were moved to another room that had became free (bear in mind the hotel was at capacity apparently) the manager didn’t come out to apologies or anything we then had to carry all our suitcases to the other side of the hotel. However the new room was lovely and clean and there was no smell of smoke. We didn’t encounter any other issues during our stay the cleaners/maid’s were fantastic so friendly and chatty and always asking if we needed anything in the room. Pool area was very clean and tidy as was the general public areas of the hotel/casino. Shame about the front desk staff telling lies about the rooms and the manager not coming out to apologies. But luckily the rest of the staff made the trip memorable. Resort fee’s are $62 per day pay room. Read less

I stayed for 4 nights. The customer service was great. Everyone we encountered was nice and informative. Also, cleanliness over all in the hotel.

We've just come back from a 7 night break at the Sahara, Las Vegas. We had read some very negative reviews on trip advisor on the few weeks & month prior to going. We were slightly apprehensive about staying at the Sahara & booked 2 nights New York New York at the end of our trip because we were shocked by the negative reviews. This was our 6th trip & we have stayed south, centre & downtown so we know what to expect from Vegas. Firstly let me say that we could not fault this hotel. It was completely spotlessly clean, the staff were so friendly & helpful. Being a smaller property suited us as it was easy to navigate our way around. We got a complementary room upgrade without asking & the room was lovely, fresh & spotlessly clean. There was a great selection of slots, the pool was lovely & we had so much rewards from the "Infinity" rewards that Sahara have. We are not big gamblers but this property was very lucky for us & we enjoyed the gambling here very much. By night 1 we had cancelled our 2 nights at New York New York & never regretted it. The property is close to downtown Femont St & was around $10/12 for an Uber/Lift. We were walking distance to Arts district which was amazing & the Monorail was fantastic for getting us onto the strip & the Monorail service was very good. We purchased a 4 day ticket but we bought another 2 days. There is a bit of a walk from each hotel/casino Monorail stop but we didn't mind this at all The only negative comment we would make is that there is pool parties on a Friday & Saturday night & this is very loud. We were jetlagged on the Friday & tried to get an early night however, couldn't sleep till after 1am when it finished. You could argue the fact that no one in Las Vegas should be trying to sleep that early but we were really tired & had been out all day. What I would like to say is that the Saharas response was to refund us 2 nights resort fees which we were happy with. We ate at Chickies & Petes which was amazing & would have loved to have tried the Noodle den but ran out of time. Would we stay here again........ yes...... tomorrow if we could. Please don't listen to the bad reviews & try the Sahara for yourself. We are not fussy, hard to please people. Just a simple couple who love Las Vegas & want to have a great time in a clean, friendly hotel. Read less
