We used the hotel for a North American convention the hotel is so well located in Boston, our out-of-town guests appreciated the updated rooms and spa area and the accessibility to all the shops and restaurants in the Back Bay. Overall, a great experience and a fantastic location.

The highlight of my stay was the warm, friendly and attentive service that I received each morning for breakfast in the Sheraton Club from James, Marie & Elsa. Those smiles at 6:30 am were the perfect way to start each day. They are the best of Marriott.

A bit older property but fairly large 4 star hotel. Bell desk was non existent so there is room for improvement. Check in was polite and thorough although there was a long line because large hotel. Very convenient and lots of space in the lobby area for lounging/working. I was upgraded to an Executive Room on a higher floor. It looked renovated although still old school design. Quite large room. Large TV that swivels to different angles in the room. Bathroom is on the small side but adequate. Housekeeping was decent. I asked them for slippers one day and they ignored my note. Amenities slightly lower than what I would expect from 4 star hotel. Large indoor swimming pool where deep end is only 5 feet 1 inches. They have 2 gym rooms: cardio and fitness area with Peloton. All in all, I think it is good hotel that is convenient so if you can get a good price, I would recommend. Read less

I booked a two night stay at Sheraton Boston in September 2025. Upon check-in, I was informed that the hotel was full. This appeared to be due to a conference, and at least three others were also turned away like me. They offered me a room at TownePlace Suites by Framingham. However, this was well outside of Boston limits so I declined accommodations. Instead I slept on my coworker's floor at his hotel room. I requested compensation under Bonvoy's Ultimate Reservation Guarantee which clearly states: "If a Participating Property is unable to honor the reservation, it will pay for comparable accommodation nearby for the Elite Member that night and compensate the Member for the inconvenience." For Sheratons, compensation is clearly noted as $200 and 90,000 Points. However, Kyle Vandine, Director of Room Operations, emailed that Ultimate Guarantee compensation does not apply using unsupported statements including: 1. "Due to the fact that you chose to cancel and not relocate to this new property, the benefit does not apply." (not true) 2. "Additionally, the $200 payment is administered in cash and must be both requested and processed when the issue occurs or before departing the property." (not true) 3. "... appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective regarding the Ultimate Reservation Guarantee which falls under the Elite Benefits Guarantee umbrella." (not true) Mistakes happen, but ownership should be taken when they do. Beware. Read less

I don’t recall ever mentioning breakfast prices or writing a detailed review about it, so this would be a first. This is a Sheraton. A Marriott Premium brand alongside Westin, Autograph Collection, etc. One expects a buffet breakfast that’s up to par with other Marriott Premium-branded properties. Instead, what we found is the same limited selection one would find at a Courtyard property. Stale muffins, croissant, fruits, a sad, very limited collection of cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, french toast, and two types bread you can toast. That’s it. What made it even more jaw-dropping is fact that the they charge $125 for 3 people for their sad excuse of a breakfast buffet. Order a la carte, go to Yard House or Stephanie’s. Whatever you do, stay away from their buffet. Their renovated rooms are worth writing about. They maximized the limited space they had to work with. Not much they can do about the tiny bathrooms, but it’s been redone as well. I find it odd that the doors of the rooms are not the same size. Some are narrower than others. Klaudia at the front desk was amazing! She went over and beyond to grant a simple request. The hotel has direct access (on the 2nd floor) to Prudential Center. There’s valet parking, but there’s also public basement parking attached to the hotel. The entrance is on Dalton St., just past the drop off area. You can access the hotel floors directly from the public parking, which adds to the convenience. Read less
