I wanted to share how much we enjoyed our recent stay at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the team. Kendra at the front desk was exceptional—she took the time to walk us through the hotel amenities and gave helpful tips about the surrounding area, making us feel right at home. That thoughtful introduction truly set the tone for our visit. The hotel itself boasts a spacious, inviting lobby with easy access to taxis and Ubers, making getting around town a breeze. The connection to the Prudential Center was incredibly convenient for shopping and dining, which we took full advantage of throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Boston. The lobby bar and restaurant offered delicious food and drinks, adding to the overall experience. We also spent a few hours at the pool, which was clean and a great spot to unwind. Every aspect of our stay was amazing, and the Sheraton Boston proved to be an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary. Read less

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. I booked a standard Queen Room, but upon arrival, I was assigned a handicap-accessible room without any prior notice or consultation. The layout is not what I paid for; the bathroom features a roll-in floor shower with no bathtub, which is not what I expected or wanted for my stay. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk and requested a move to the standard room type I actually reserved, they flatly refused to change my room or offer a solution. It is incredibly frustrating to pay for a specific room category only to be forced into a different configuration and then met with zero flexibility from management. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want to ensure you actually get the room you book. The only options they offered was upgrading a room for extra cost even though the room I booked was not available. This is extremely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service. My wife and I talked to the hotel multiple times and they refused to offer to move us to the proper room. Read less

I was at this hotel several years ago and remember it being just average at the time. Fast forward to today and I just got back from a 2-night stay and it's a great hotel - amazing renovation in 2025 - everything very clean, fresh and modern. We were there for a dance competition and the venue was great. Loved the ballroom on the 2nd floor that has direct access to the mall (tons of shopping and food options). Stayed in a Double Room and it was roomy for 2 people. The bathroom was a little small, but would be big by NYC standards. Beds comfy, bottled water, plentiful towels. Requested 2 things from housekeeping on 2 different occasions and both came quickly which I feel is a sign of a well run hotel. Great ice machine on the 8th floor. Location in Back Bay is excellent - Marriott has really nailed it with the trio of hotels connecting to the malls (Westin, Sheraton and Marriott) - I've stayed in all 3 and love the location. Oh also the pool is great, gym was good. Had a small bite to eat at lobby restaurant and that was also good. Love the booth seating in the lobby. Overall great stay. Hope to be back next year for dance again. Read less

My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a 3 day trip to Boston. The river view room was very comfortable and the cleaning staff were very efficient and friendly. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and the service we received from Tim and Francesca was exceptional.

We arrived at the Sheraton to find the lobby completely overwhelmed, with approximately 200 students crowded into the space, despite having booked our room over a month in advance and being a loyal Marriott member. From check-in through the stay, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a smooth check-in process or to actually receive the room they reserved. I booked a king bedroom and checked in at 4:00 PM. After being told there would be a delay, I received no communication or updates whatsoever regarding room availability. After waiting two hours, I had to return to the front desk myself to ask for an update, only to be assigned a double-bed room at 6:00 PM—not the room I booked or paid for. While I was initially understanding of the delayed check-in, the lack of communication combined with a two-hour wait and failure to honor my reservation is beyond disappointing. When I spoke with the manager, the only “compensation” offered was lounge access for snacks and juice, which does not begin to make up for the chaos, inconvenience, or poor handling of the situation. This experience fell well below Marriott standards and reflects a serious breakdown in organization, communication, and customer service. Read less
