I would agree with all the recent reviews, this was a very nice boutique property, in a great location. Clean unique rooms with nice decor details. We were a bit surprised the lack of even a complimentary continental breakfast and found the F&B experience to be good but expensive compared to surrounding restaurants or even the Toronto Eataly 3 blocks away for a better value breakfast. So, we left the property for all meals and drinks. Friends were staying next door at the W and after comparison; We were a bit surprised what they had included in their room rate vs. this property Read less

We had windows on 2 sides and at one point saw people shooting up and totally high first thing in the am. The… Read more

However, I cannot get the image of the homeless and hard drug users out of my head that are on both sides of this hotel. We had windows on 2 sides and at one point saw people shooting up and totally high first thing in the am. The general area of the hotel is very sketchy. The non valet parking across the street is shared with a strip club. If I was doing a story on the homeless and hard drug users this is where I would want to stay, but not when I am on holiday with my family. Read less

It may sound cliche but it really felt like our home away from home. The front desk has a nice casual vibe but they’re very attentive and helpful. However, the room itself steals the show. Excellent layout and furnishings. Real coffee and a record player… I mean come on! Didn’t realize I was a Doobie Brothers fan :) Also, It’s a mere hop, skip… Read more
