Disney's BoardWalk Inn

Walt Disney World, Orlando

Star rating

The hotel

This magical waterfront property will take you back to 1930's America with its mix of buildings steeped in old-fashioned charm. It’s smack, bang in the middle of the lively BoardWalk with picturesque views of the harbour and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to explore. Kids will adore the swimming pool complex with its 61-metre water slide and white-sand beach, while adults can enjoy a leisurely swim in the quiet pool. It’s particularly fun to stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn as the whole area comes alive at night when duelling pianos get to work to the delight of the crowds, and everyone gets into the holiday mood. It’s dead easy to get to Epcot on the water taxi or by foot, and the restaurants of Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club Resorts are close by for dining variety.

This is hands-down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and it’s become my absolute favorite resort! From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt special. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views that made waking up each morning a treat. The dining options were fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to every taste, from gourmet meals to casual bites. The resort’s amenities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch and added so much to the overall experience. The only minor downside was the pool area, which could use a bit of TLC. While it was still enjoyable, a few touch-ups or updates would make it even better and bring it up to the same exceptional standard as the rest of the resort. That said, this small issue didn’t detract from the overall magic of the place. Everything else was so phenomenal that I’m already looking forward to my next visit. This resort is truly a gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Read less

Loved our 2 week stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. We really liked the setup with most things being located outside on the boardwalk and the location was perfect for quick trips into Epcot and a short bus ride to the other parks.

I don't want to write this hotel low but the fridge didn't work and we spent $100 on food that just went bad put one thing I am grateful about is that someone had a Sam's Club account they were able to order our stuff back the only reason why is it a one star is because of this used to be my favorite Disney World hotel

Our family loved the Boardwalk. We stayed for a week with a water view room with 5 of us (two adults, 3 children under 14). Pros: - Found it much quieter and peacful than other Disney resorts (compared to the Polynesian which is a behemoth and always packed!) - The Boardwalk has a row of restaurants on the waterfront - the Pizza window (great gluten free option), Bakery (very fancy), Deli, Margherita truck, Corn dog hut, Fish restuarant and Italian are all great and it is quite bustling at night time which adds to the atmosphere - Nice view of the fireworks over the lake - The Deli is superb. The best quick service eatery I've experienced at Disney hotels, great selection and very fast service. Also take allergies extremely seriously - Rooms are modern and well maintained, looked new - Laundry room in each building - Walking distance to Epcot and Skyliner station - Well equipped gym Cons: - Magic Kingdom, Hollywood, Animal Kingdom and water parks will all need buses or boats as the hotel isn't on the Monorail loop (which is a very minor thing) - The hotel area is very large, if you got unlucky you could have a long walk to the main building from your room Tips: - Refillable cups $22.99 per stay, are definitely worth it, $7 for a soft drink normally - Disney Dining plan is worth it, especially if "free" as part of a package. Worked out it saved us around $1,400 if we'd just paid at all the places we eat at - Use mobile ordering for the Deli and pop down when ready rather than queuing Read less
