We had a nice and relaxing stay in a one bedroom villa. The room is very spacious - especially compared to the new vacation club villas and you get a full size washer/dryer. One of the smaller pools was closed which made the Village Pool too crowed and there weren't enough seats if you arrived in the afternoon. The buses are very convenient to get to Disney Springs. We used to enjoy the boat, but now that the boats dock at the far end of Disney Springs, you need to allow for more time if you need to make a show or dinner reservation.

We requested a room away from hospitality as we prefer a more peaceful holiday however we were upgraded and placed near hospitality. The room is spacious and clean - although a little tired.
The biggest disappointment is the noise. We understand we are in a busy resort and expect some noise but this is the noisiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. There us zero sound proofing. We can hear the music being played outside and the noise from the pool. We can hear people when they walk past talking. We are next to the road so the buses thunder past and horns are beeping. Worst of all is that you can hear everything the next door neighbours do.
We raised a concern with front desk who told us that as it was built in 1991 there is no sound proofing. The only option is to move us to another location tomorrow but that would mean that we would be without a room for a number or hours and there is no guarantee the same wouldnt happen again - especially with studios and having ajoining rooms. Really disappointing and not feeling the disney magic.
So disappointed.

Nice trip but Disney Needs to do something about the smell

We stayed here in November 2025. Overall, it was a nice resort, though the distance to the parks did get a bit annoying, especially since so many other Disney resorts are located much closer. We stayed here in November 2025. Overall, it was a nice resort, though the distance to the parks did get a bit annoying, especially since so many other Disney resorts are located much closer. The one issue that really stood out was the smell outside at night. Based on what I’ve read online, it seems to come from stagnant water around the grounds, and for whatever reason, it tends to be most noticeable in the evenings. With everything Disney is capable of, it’s surprising that this hasn’t been addressed yet. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and I would still recommend this resort overall.

What an amazing resort, we have done a few hotels in Disney and this is one of my favourites, so tranquil, lovely rooms and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again
