This was our second stay at this hotel, which remains a nice hotel, quiet by Disney standards and with great staff. Bit late writing this review. Stayed in May 2025 with my partner (arrived as my girlfriend, left as my fiancée) and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Bit late writing this review. Stayed in May 2025 with my partner (arrived as my girlfriend, left as my fiancée) and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The coach transfer was straight forward, then once we arrived the customer service was incredible. It's my first stay in a Disney hotel, so I won't speak on how it compares to staying in one of the other hotels, but I can't imagine being happier anywhere else. The room was lovely, always clean, I enjoyed every meal I ate there, the beignets lived up to the hype, the bar/pool were both great although due to our busy schedule we weren't in them much. Incredible atmosphere no matter where you were and never felt crowded/busy even on Memorial Day weekend. There were a couple of storms while we were there (not uncommon for Florida obviously) but standing on those terraces watching the weather was an event in itself. The frequency of buses that take you to the different Disney parks made everything very smooth and getting to and from Universal with Ubers was also very easy. Definitely felt we got great value for money. I'll definitely be back at Disneyworld in the future, and it will almost certainly be back in the Port Orleans French Quarter Read less

First time at Disneyworld and we chose to stay at POFQ and it was absolutely perfect! The theming is so charming and magical. The resort is very small so wherever you are, you’re just a minute or so’s walking distance from the QS restaurant, bar, gift shop, lobby, bus stop, etc. Everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly. Food options are nice and varied with plenty of veggie & vegan options. Scat Cat’s or Mardi Grogs are both nice places to spend some time in the evenings. The boat to Disney Springs is also a really convenient if you want to explore outside the parks! They run frequently and we never had to queue or wait more than a couple of minutes for a boat. Oh and of course… BEIGNETS! Special shout out to Faviana on the front desk for her especially warm welcome and kindness. Would absolutely stay here again, can’t wait to return. Read less

Just got back from a week stay at POFQ . Our family visits Disney once or sometimes twice a year. We usually stay Deluxe at either the Poly or WL. For this trip, I was looking for something a little more budget friendly, so we chose FQ based on good reviews. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was recently updated, really pretty, and immaculate (I'm super picky about cleanliness). Honestly, I don't think I've ever had a room this spotless on property. Customer service was amazing. So friendly, helpful and very quick to respond. From check-in, to the bell hop, to maintenance, everyone was so nice. I also called front desk just to see if I could request to have our beds made everyday and to have new towels dropped off, which they accommodated. Every night we'd come back to beautifully made beds with specials bows and towel animals. I haven't seen that in years in the deluxe hotels, so I was shocked to see it here. We were in one of the preferred buildings which was steps from the lobby, pool, food court and buses, however, the hotel is really compact so you'd be close to everything regardless of what building you're in. The buses were great... never waited more than 3 minutes for a bus going or coming back. I absolutely look forward to returning. Read less

Our second stay at Port Orleans French Quarter. The resort ticks all the boxes for a Disney resort. The rooms are spotless, the bed was super comfortable. There is a long dresser that n the room which was great for storage and organising our stuff. There is also a fridge, coffee machine in the room. Our room had two queen size beds and a sitting area. The Bathroom area and soaps were great, especially after a long day at the parks. Buses to the parks were frequent, we never had to wait more than a few minutes. The boat to Disney springs was pleasant. Food Resort restaurant was great, we had the Disney dining plan and this gave us a mug for unlimited hot drinks and sodas. The plan worked really well for us. In particular the salmon/ veg and mash is lovely, as was pancakes for breakfast. We saved loads with the dining plan. Beignets delicious, no queue first thing in the morning but expect a long queue from 10am onwards. It was good that for three beignets/ sauce it counted as a snack on the dining plan. Wi-Fi Worked really throughout the resorts and parks. Car parking included for no extra worked well for us. Staff throughout were helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend and stay at the resort again. Read less
