No heat in room took three days to resolve and had to wear hoodie and wool socks to bed. Restaurants were good food but expensive. Good location to everything, older hotel. Bed was not comfortable to me but ok.

Very noisy busy hotel. We supposedly had a room with a queen bed it was the smallest queen bed in the world. The hair dryer is of no use if you have long hair. I don’t understand how this hotel can be a member of the Langham Group. Food and drinks in the bar is very expensive

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding My Stay – October 17–19 at the Chelsea Hotel
Dear Management Team,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Chelsea Hotel. I checked in on Friday, October 17 at approximately 9 PM for a two-night stay, and the experience was far below expectations for a hotel of your rating and reputation.
While checking in, I overheard another guest beside me being offered complimentary parking for two nights by a different front desk agent. I had not initially requested complimentary parking, but after hearing that, I asked if I could please receive the same offer. The representative assisting me said no. I then asked if she could at least waive one night of parking, she was very bothered by me asking for a perk and proceeded to make excuses as to why she cannot do that I then showed frustration and unhappiness, and with hesitation she agreed to — however, when I reviewed my credit card statement, I was charged for both nights.
Unfortunately, the condition of my room was also unacceptable:
• Cigarette butts left on the balconyBroken • Balcony door handle
• Sticky bathroom floors and countertops
• Visible stains on the couch
For a stay costing over $500, plus $80+ in parking, the level of cleanliness and service I received was completely inadequate. This is not at all the standard I expected from your property.
I have attached photos for your reference and would appreciate a response regarding how this situation will be addressed. I am requesting that you review the incorrect parking charge and address the poor room conditions with your housekeeping and maintenance teams.
