Honeymoon suite not a Honeymoon suite at all!

Horrible experience on my wedding night. Rented the honeymoon suite only to be extremely disappointed. Old food in fridge, old and scuffed furniture, towel racks hot glued together and falling off the wall and no "honeymoon welcome gesture" not even a card or chocolate. Horrible experience not to mention the cost of this room. Will not stay…

We had to arrive on time for a surgical prep and stay for two days of torture in a very invasive oral surgery. Chelsea inn staff were very helpful offering early check in late check out and very supportive of our need for rest. Patient our maid about respecting our slowness. We felt very much respected and accommodated highly recommend staying here! We had a very delightful stay even under the circumstances. It was reasonably priced to help the cost of many medical expenses which would not be covered. Needing the help of each partner to aid the other with severe disabilities we felt truly appreciated and we thank all staff and Chelsea Inn for the wonderful ways we were helped right down to delicious foods blended for tasty nutrition when eating was challenging. The recommendations were perfect!
I have a Service Dog who was very welcome! I can’t say enough about the kind staff and the ease of stay! Highly Recommended stay here, you will be glad you did!

Convenient for Business, But Not Ideal for Leisure

I stayed at the Chelsea Hotel for a company offsite. While it served its purpose for business meetings, I wouldn’t choose it for a personal stay. I stayed at the Chelsea Hotel for a company offsite. While it served its purpose for business meetings, I wouldn’t choose it for a personal stay. The location isn’t ideal for tourists—it’s not walkable to major attractions like the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, or Ripley’s Aquarium, and it’s not directly on the train route. I ended up Ubering everywhere, which was fine, but something to keep in mind. The hotel has three separate elevator zones depending on your floor. I was in the Green tower, which my coworkers and I initially thought was outdated, but all rooms had been recently renovated. That said, many of us noticed a strong smell of marijuana in our rooms, which was off-putting.
Overall, the accommodations were functional but didn’t meet the quality I’m used to. It got the job done for a work trip, but I wouldn’t stay here again by choice.
