This is a family centered resort, but it was very quiet and I don’t think they had a lot of activities for kids. I was there for my 50th birthday, my husband’s birthday and our 28th anniversary. We were given an almost 3 hour wait for a room and they told us that they were preparing something special for our birthdays and anniversary but when we got to the room, there was nothing but one piece of birthday cake. I was also surprised by the fact that there was not a table to eat at or dressers to store clothes. We kept having to drag the table from outside into the room to eat The buffet was OK but the room service food was amazing and we ate that more than anything. The hotel lobby and the restaurants are beautiful, but the building façade appears outdated. We had a swim out, which was really nice but all in all I probably would not stay at this resort again even with the amazing staff.

If they didn't have what I was looking for they went out of their way to find it. MOST OF ALL: We want to thank Chef Pedro and Chef Eddy for going above and beyond at our dinners and lunches at El Patio, Seaside, and Portofino.
