Split into two sections, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya - Hacienda is a family friendly playground packed full of fun with amenities galore. Four expansive pools and Rockaway Bay a 23-slide waterpark, twelve restaurants, endless water activities and the Roxity Kids' club should give you a good idea. Plus when staying in the Hacienda section, adults will have access to some of the restaurants, bars and facilities within the Heaven section, which has both family and adults-only areas. An All Inclusive resort, it's top-shelf all the way at the Hard Rock — there isn’t anything you’ll be denied. After a busy day (and night) your room is your sanctuary. Rock Star Suites Ocean Front have 2 bedrooms, one with 1 king-size bed and the other with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 6 guests including children and infants. As the name suggests, this suite is fit for a Rock Star, with hooded throne seating and a custom gold and silver mirrored horse sculpture, not forgetting the Jacuzzi soaking tub in the master bedroom.

Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old). Our favorite place to eat dinner was Toro! The best show was the fire show outside - it was breathtaking and so amazing. It left us all in awe! The entertainment staff and the activity were amazing and so fun to interact with. Hector, DaniGirl, Poncho, Lalo, Ovi, DaniBoy and Kiki organized the best activities and made our staff so amazing and fun.

Diego from pool concierge at the Heaven poolside was absolutely amazing!! He really made sure we had everything we needed and always checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything! We have been to this hotel several times and this is one of the times that we truly felt we were taken care of at all times .

Such an amazing resort. So much for kids to do, we hardly seen them some days. Food was so tasty and plenty of options. I loved that you could go to different buffets for your breakfast whilst getting a nice stroll around the complex. The two cafes are like having unlimited Starbucks, Frappuccino’s, iced lattes, hot lattes, iced chocolate, you name it, they have it. Hotel and surrounding areas are kept so clean, the staff are the gems that make this place as amazing as it is. They can’t do enough for you. Tips go a long way and we found after a couple of days of showing gratitude, our sun-beds were then kept for us each morning, same spot as well. Now the only negative but quite a big one, the rooms!! Our room was in block 3, I had read reviews about the dampness and smell beforehand but wasn’t quite prepared for how bad it was. The smell even walking to our room via the corridor was so strong and then on entry to our room it just hit us so bad. Jumping into our beds at night and feeling as though the sheets were wet with the dampness, our clothes and suitcases smelt so bad on return home of it too, just not nice. Although the room is a good size, there isn’t enough storage for clothes. Room refurbishments definitely required for this Hard Rock! Read less
