We had a great time at the Hilton Barbados. I’ll check in Sabae was friendly and managed to give us an upgrade. The guys at the bell desk are friendly and professional as well. There are a few employees around the resort we don’t seem too happy to do their jobs, but it had no impact on us at all. Breakfast was very good. Jennifer was the sweetest person we met in the restaurant. We ate at tapas,Champers, Naru, Local and Co among others with Champers being the stand out and Tapas second on our list. To take a long walk on pebbles Beach is slightly challenging. You have to walk over by cousins fish stand to get to the beach and then you have to walk under the pillars from the Radisson to get to the other side of the beach and a tip is to go between the second and third pillar to avoid rocks, but it is three or 4 feet deep. Otherwise you have to walk on the road to get to a park to cut through to the beach. We did also see the horses one day on the side of the Radisson going into the water, which was very cool. It is a beautiful property with mostly friendly service. There are a couple of gas stations at the end of the road if you want to buy beer and Rum to save some $$. Read less

We only stayed a night due to a cancelled flight. Our suite was very large, well equipped and comfortable - and expensive - be aware there’s a long walk to get to some rooms. The hotel channels 1980s conference venue, the dining experience was unmemorable and almost every staff contact we had was a disappointment. We loved Barbados but won’t stay… Read more

We stayed for three nights in this huge Hilton hotel, which is quite busy on the weekend, but on Monday and Tuesday it was relatively quiet. The atmosphere is a little weird since the first-floor lobby looks like a bunker, although the pool and beach area are nice. The Water Edge's Beach Bar has a bit of a McD vibe and misses the true Caribbean atmosphere you would expect. The rooms are okay, and the beds are nice, but generally the room is not worth the money if you take into account the decoration, finishing, cleanliness, and tidiness of the rooms. The staff is in general nice and helpful, but a number of staff members for sure need training in kindness and customer service. Other advice to the management is to improve the rainwater drainage on the roads and extend the walking path in order to connect it to the public walking path. They might even adopt the public path, together with the other hotels and restaurants, in order to ensure their guests have a safe and clean walk to the main road. Read less
