The hotel

The Knott's Hotel has been completely renovated. It is conveniently located right next to the popular Knott’s Berry Farm® theme park in Buena Park, California. The hotel extends the fun of the park with its amenities, including a swimming pool featuring a children’s water splash zone, as well as a fitness centre. While Knott’s Berry Farm® theme park provides plenty of thrilling rides, dining, and entertainment, guests are also just a ten-minute drive away from the Disney® parks. A free shuttle service runs to the Disneyland® Resort, providing convenient access to additional attractions

I stayed here specifically for a visit to Knotts Berry Farm and this was the hotel that was on-site. First off, when I checked into the hotel the front desk was extremely unaccommodating as wouldn't give me a top floor room and gave me a corner room even though I specifically said no corner rooms or lower level rooms. Then, the whole night I kept hearing people's phone ringing and hearing neighbors having sex next door of my room. It made it almost impossible to sleep at night. I tried to complain to the hotel staff but they just ignored it and never did anything about the issue. The walls are way too thin and the rooms are a bit dated. The rooms also lack a microwave. We are finishing up our stay at the hotel. The staff has been wonderful. Our flight had been delayed significantly and there was no problem checking in at 1 am local time. We are finishing up our stay at the hotel. The staff has been wonderful. Our flight had been delayed significantly and there was no problem checking in at 1 am local time. It was great to have such a friendly reception after a stressful day. The standard double room feels small but was clean and beds comfortable. Bathrooms could use a refresh however and the counter is tiny. We did the classic package which included breakfast buffet which was filling. Best buffet eggs I’ve had in awhile. The pool was cold but a great spot for a midday break from the park when the sun was hot and the lines long. We had no issue getting lounge chairs despite it being busy. The pool towels however were a joke. I am a petite lady and they didn’t make it around my waist- bring some from the room. After the park, I did take out from the hotel restaurant which was easy and grabbed a very sweet boysenberry cocktail from the bar. Note that the pop machine is way cover priced. But there is a Walgreens 5 min walk away for anything you forgot to bring. All in all a great stay. Read less

The Knott's Hotel was pretty underwhelming. It did serve it's purpose in terms of proximity to the park and hospitable staff. Check-in was easy and I was able to park there early while family went to the park. The pool was cold, but we visited in February, so we were not expecting too much. The property was clean, nothing notable about the actual hotel, but there were mosquitos in the lobby and second floor common area which I found a bit odd. The room itself was nothing special at all, we stayed on a low floor above the entrance of the hotel and could hear the music from the lobby all night, I was expecting them to turn it down at least a little after 10pm, but it went all night. Luckily the air conditioner in our room was so loud that we kept the fan going on all night to drown out the lobby music. Also, I found it strange there was no water refilling station on the property, even in the gym. Not very intuitive of an oversight in 2026. All in all, unless I absolutely needed to stay at the hotel closest to the park, I would likely not stay here again. Read less

This was my third time staying overnight in this hotel with a package with parking, breakfast and entry to Knott's Berry farm, which is a nice short walk away. The hotel was clean, staff helpful and friendly, but their dinner and included breakfast was not even mediocre food. Dinner was expensive and the Caesar salad with shrimp was not good, not very many shrimp and not fresh lettuce and almost $20. The kids said their hamburger and chicken tenders were not very good. The included breakfast had most of the hot dishes almost cold and not very good. Service at the restaurant was good. Read less

Anyone planning on staying at Knott's hotel, please be aware they (SIX FLAGS) have changed their reservations policy. Now, all reservations are immediately charged for the first night, and that cost is NON REFUNDABLE. For decades, the first night was not charged until three days prior to arrival. This information is from hotel management, and as of 1 February the policy change is not noted on the hotel or reservations website. So anyone considering staying at Knott's, and if your plans could in any way change, it is now more of risk to make advance reservations than it is to check availability as a walk-in. Last week (January, 2026) I personally made advance reservations for a future visit, as I have for years, that my credit card company flagged as fraudulent because there was no information on the new, immediate charge policy. My credit card was de-activated, I am being issued a new card with a NEW NUMBER that I now must change with every subscription, insurance, utility, and other automatic payment. After 20 years we've been waiting to renew this year's Knott's Pass, which we will now probably not renew; and it's doubtful we will stay at the hotel again. Thank you, Six Flags. Read less
