Good facilities. Professional staff Momo restaurant is awesome
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Pretty good. The chef is the biggest part in my opinion

The food was great. The chef was alright. He used brainrot in his humor which I didn’t like, and his energy wasn’t the most captivating. He seemed like he was trying to be non-chalant, meaning acting like he isn’t trying or doesn’t care. He was terrible, just alright.

We chose Moon Palace Jamaica for our wedding because we believed their team would care for the most important day of our lives. That belief is the thing we grieve most, because it was never honored. We left heartbroken. For roughly eighteen months leading up to the wedding, communication with the staff was unreliable at best; emails, calls, and texts that went unanswered for days, weeks, or months leaving us anxious about whether anything was being handled at all. By the time we arrived, days before the wedding, we had guest relations reach out three times to no avail. We went looking for them and found them once again chatting it up and not taking accountability. I planned my own wedding. As the bride, I was the one chasing answers, confirming arrangements, fixing problems, and coordinating the logistics we had paid their team to handle. I should have been resting and celebrating with my guests. Instead I was doing the wedding planner, the events manager, front desk, and shuttle job for them. At one point a staff member even remarked that I should be on payroll! An admission, in so many words, that I was doing the work they were being paid for. Days before my own wedding, when I finally reached the manager in person to ask whether the wedding was even still happening, the answer was simply, "Let me check." The accommodations were genuinely unsettling. There were roaches in the room. The air conditioning didn't work. We found blood on the sheets; something no guest should ever have to see, let alone a couple on their wedding week. We were moved from room to room, and even the final honeymoon suite had no hot water. When we reported these things, no one came. I know the calls are logged. A complimentary room and upgrade we'd been promised in writing never materialized, yet we were charged $1,200 to make up for it. Then came the day itself, and the event staff is where the heartbreak became complete. No one could be found when they were needed most. The ceremony audio failed, they didn’t even try, so our guests couldn't hear our vows. I waited alone in a room an additional 20 minutes because nothing was ready, and the ceremony started later than needed. The disorganization ran straight through the reception. The Welcome sign was placed after guests were seated. No one directed our guests after the ceremony. I cried and it wasn’t tears of joy. The day I had personally planned, saved for, and dreamed about slipped away in front of us. Undone by the very team hired to carry it out. We will never get it back. No accountability, no empathy, no true compassion or respect for those who are planning the most important day of their lives. There’s more however the time we’ve spent preparing, planning, and executing on this matter has been strenuous. I will have more to come soon, on my own time. We don't write this in anger. We write it in disappointment and sadness, that I did their job and still watched them ruin the day anyway, and that no bride should have to plan her own wedding only to be failed by the people she trusted to deliver it. We cannot recommend Moon Palace Jamaica for a wedding. At all. Read less
