Firstly the location is perfect, I-Ride Trolley stop is literally at the front on the hotel making trips up or down International Drive so easy & cheap. Secondly on those occasional chill days both pools are great, plenty of sun beds & pool towels always available. Finally I can’t believe how good this hotel is for the price we paid. TUI did us proud with this one. The breakfast was far better than any other we have had in America, rooms generous in size with 2 double beds, reception breakfast & bar staff extremely pleasant/helpful. If I have to find a negative housekeeping for us was pretty non existent although towels were plenty full our bed was only made once in a week. I’m pretty sure if we had asked at reception that could have been rectified. Also housekeeping were asking for us to leave the room well before our 11am checkout time but that wasn’t happening. This certainly wouldn’t put us off & I would recommend this hotel to anyone & we met plenty of British holiday makers who have returned over & over again Read less

Right I booked this because we were going away during school holidays and prices like most things were astronomical! Rosen International came in as one of the cheaper ones and having stayed at pointe orlando I presumed this would be roughly the same! How wrong I was. I emailed the hotel about 3 times before we came to ask for a room in the 1,000 when we arrived we were given 3,000 but ground floor so we accepted as we are a family of 5 youngest child 4yrs old. We got to the room and it didn't have the roll away bed so I went back and asked for it. They brought it folded in two and I said you need to take the chair away that was in the room as I can't fit a bed in too, I was told to put it outside! I went to reception as it had been raining and I didn't think it was right just putting a half material half faux leather chair outside. The reception rang house keeping and told them to remove the chair! The same ladies came back got the chair and put it just outside the room and walked off, I put the folded bed down and just thought ok I didn't put it outside if it gets ruined its not my fault. I did think if this is how the holiday starts god help us! Anyway we've not really had anything to do with the hotel since, we did struggle with 5 in one room but thats what we paid for i guess so in the 2nd week I booked us 3 nights at universal surfside oh my god what a difference happy staff that couldn't do enough for us a fabulous pool that slopes so easy for little kids spotlessly clean. The staff at rosen haven't been friendly at all except the Asian lady in the bar she was lovely when we ate there and had drinks, reception were fine not overly friendly but professional, the housekeeping well they are all miserable and don't speak or smile, had they been nicer maybe my thoughts would be different on saying this in two weeks we have had our beds made approximately 4 times and sheets changed once! When we were at surfside I popped back every day and in the 3 nights we were away the bed got made once! ( this is why there was no tip left) All in all when I say this was one of the cheapest it wasn't cheap cheap and i wouldn't stay here again, I would try the rosen at pointe as that was a nice stay but I would rather save up and go to the universal budget hotels had I known what this hotel was like I'd have saved the extra £300 and paid for surfside. Sorry if lots don't agree but that is my view. I've stayed in lots of hotels all over the world and this is one I wouldn't come back to! Oh we ordered food from the shop wings and fries and tenders and fries both not very nice at all, yet food in the pub was nice. Read less

The only reason I've knocked a star off is the housekeeping service lets them down. Our bins were not emptied and towels replenished on a daily basis as per the information sheet provided to us on check-in. It also stated that fresh bed linen would be provided every sixth night - this was not the case. After a week, I had to ask for fresh sheets. The reception staff were very helpful, and arranged to remedy the situation. House keeping is a bit hit and miss (I can only speak for the area our rooms were situated). I would have no hesitation in staying here again, but just they should review their procedures on the housekeeping service. Read less

This motel is really good value and I am definitely going to go back. The room was spacious, clean and everyday the room was serviced. It has a coffee machine , fridge, lots of fresh towels and swimming pools both have towel stations. The hairdryer works well and lots of channels on tv. Good blackout blinds. I have took one star off due to the loud sound of the air conditioning machine, but apart from that I couldn’t fault anything. The motel is right behind wendy’s , ihop and McDonald’s , Walgreens and the bus stop to universal studios (5 mins on bus) and a 15 minute walk straight into the park!! The security is on 24/7 and only allow residents to enter and park which was great. They have a shop which you can get your milk for your coffee and any late night snacks. The restaurant looked good but I never used it during my two weeks here. The grounds are very nice and two good size pools . They have a few Launderettes st a reasonable price . You can get a free shuttle bus to universal parks but you have to let them know the day before. We just used the I-trolley and it was no problem Overall central, clean, nice staff and good reasonable price for families. Read less

Due to weather there was a delay in getting the baggage off the aircraft.  This meant longer queues at immigration, then it seems a bottle neck of folk checking in to the Rosen.  We asked if we could have a ground floor room around numbers 1140 onward, they were able to arrange this and further a room with a walk in shower, my wife struggles getting in and out of the bath.  The room had a different layout due to the larger shower area and a King sized bed rather than two singles, but no issues.  The beds are not made up every day now but bins are still emptied and the usual checks made.  I think every fourth day the top sheets are replaced and every seventh the whole bed changed.  We did have an issues with the sink, this was fixed quickly and efficiently. The room was clean, normal amenities, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, modern TV.  Maybe the decor is a bit dated, but the reasons to holiday in Orlando are not for the hotel rooms. We enjoyed time by the pool and there were regular checks and patrols by the hotel staff. We have stayed in a number of hotels in the past, the first was The Gateway, and also tried the Rosen at 9000 I-Drive (which was nice) but we seem to gravitate to the Rosen at 7600, we didn’t drive in the States, and this is central, easy to access the trolley bus or the Lynx services a number of restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar during the happy hour and found the service to be excellent. On our next trip to Orlando, we will be looking to book the Rosen Inn again. Read less
