1st the good, the staff is great, the grounds are kept up nice and amenities are very good. It has a great beach with plenty of chairs. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping was good. The location is good and there are several places to eat you can walk to. The not so good- This place is old built in the early 70s and the rooms are past due for a major renovation. Our bath door was striking the frame and hard to close, they did make it some better on the 2nd try 3 day later. We put a towel on the floor at night at the front door because it had a large gap at the bottom and the wind whistled thru it. The sofa and chair were old and uncomfortable. The TVs are old also no smart tv or even a channel guide, the ice machines were broken on the 5th and 6th floor. They said they were waiting on parts, and they would they be fixed in a couple of days but reading other reviews and talking to staff they have not worked in a while. One of the 4 very old and small elevators kept breaking down. The pools are ok but again old, some tiles were falling off the one we used. The pool drinks are about normal hotel prices $15 for a frozen drink which would be ok if they were not so small. I hope they renovate the place because we did like the beach and location. Read less
