I loved this hotel. Perfect to travel with family as it has a kitchen. Perfect location in Orlando. Will most definitely stay here in future trips.

Second visit, fantastic as always! Second visit, fantastic as always! We first stayed here in July 2024 at the recommendation of Virgin travel agents as somewhere that was close to the parks but also have you that ‘homey’ feel - they weren’t wrong. It’s directly opposite Icon park (it’s a big park with lots of entertainment and an identical wheel to the London eye… run by the same company too). Shuttle bus is free of charge, you just need to book it via the website the night before. Yes, I will admit that it takes a little while to get to the parks but it’s always before opening (or if you catch the later bus it’s after the crowds have entered). Getting home takes a while with the traffic but when we’re on holiday we don’t worry about the time. After the parks we usually head to the yard house in Icon park for a pint (if you like ale and beer, definitely check it out…. Very good food too and a decent price). Rooms are spacious, have everything you could need - bed, fridge, twin hob, microwave, toaster, shower, bath, toilet, sofa, TV (with loads of channels), dining table, safe, iron, hairdryer, kettle (you might need to ask reception for one). If you like a good night sleep you can try and opt for one away from the front of the building - icon park has music on until around 10pm at weekend (I like an early night after a day in the parks). Free parking for a vehicle if you’ve hired also (just get a pass from reception). Universal is a walk away (both islands of adventure and epic) but it’ll take around 45mins - 1hr. That’s something we tend to do with the mountains of food we consume in America. Footpaths all the way. I will definitely stay again, can’t wait to come back. The staff are amazing. They always go the extra mile. Breakfast is cheap, simple and easy if you want a quick breakfast (breakfast wraps is about the best thing there). Big Walmart on the other side of i4 (10 minute drive or 40 minute walk) for all your shopping, or a walgreens at the top of I drive (near the biggest McDonald’s you’ve ever seen!). It’s cheap, very good value for money, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Others have commented the rooms are dark and dated - true they’re not the most modern apartments but I find most of America like this. They’ve just spent loads refurbishing the pool area - we’ve never used it because we’re not that bothered but it’s really good for kids or family lazy days Read less

If you are looking for a hotel that provides an apartment/suite with bedrooms / bathrooms / lounge / dining area and a small kitchen, in a location mid-way between Universal and Disney along International Drive near to a variety of restaurants, then this is the place to consider. The staff were cheerful, polite, and helpful at all times. The place was clean and tidy. Set in a coutyard style around the swimming pool over a number of levels it was very shady, and didnt feel busy, hardly saw other guests. Basic swimming pool with a seperate hot tub / jacuzzi. Complimentary towels to one side for you to help yourself. The suite we had booked was perfect for what we needed. There was a combined kitchen area, dining table, sofa, seat and large tv to give us an area to chill. The kitchen area included a large microwave, a dishwasher, a large fridge/freezer, a toaster, a coffee machine (no kettle, we used the coffee machine to boil water), so we stocked up the kitchen so we could sort out our own breakfasts / lunch snacks to save some money instead of eating out all the time. There is a large safe, an iron and ironing board, walk in wardrobes and plenty of storage / electric points. Air con throughout. There is no restaurant or bar, but there is a snack bar in the mornings were the very happy staff can provide Starbucks Drinks and pastries/breakfast if you want them. There are plenty of restaurants and Icon Park near by. Pirate Cove Adventure Golf is opposite. We were in a suite at the back corner furthest away from International Drive / Icon Park, we didnt hear any noise, although we could hear the Sixt Rental Company (desk situated next to the reception) staff cleaning the cars in the morning (not early so we didnt mind). Sometimes you could hear other guests or the elevator bell, but barely. It was about 10 minutes to Universal, and 20/25 minutes to Disney, we used UBER but you could use a car as there is a large car park surrounding the hotel. There is also the ITrolley route stopping outside, stop 14. This location and hotel was perfect for us, good value and not too basic, whilst providing what we needed so we could enjoy the parks and other things that Orlando has to offer. Read less

Towels changed every three days, no where to dry them, so ended up drying them around the apartment. Pool area didn’t use as very dirty, broken sun loungers and chairs. Shuttle service is terrible. Ended up getting Ubers as shuttles took over an hour and half to get to parks each day. Read less
