146 suites, all with air-conditioning, premium bedding, full kitchen with cook-top stove, full-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster and tea/coffee maker, cable TV, telephone, complimentary WiFi, safe, hairdryer, and iron and board.

1-Bedroom Suites are 550 sq ft and have a master bedroom with 1 king-size bed and queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

2-Bedroom Suites are 738 sq ft and have a master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, a second bedroom with 1 queen-size bed, queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2 bathrooms, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 2 adults and 4 children.

Trio 2-Bedroom Suites are 750 sq ft and have a master bedroom with 1 king-size bed, a second bedroom with 2 double beds, 1 queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2 bathrooms, sleeping maximum 8 adults or 2 adults and 6 children.

Complimentary self-parking. I-Ride Trolley* bus stop nearby which stops at Sea World and Aquatica. Complimentary shuttle to Disney World and Universal, with two departures / returns per day (schedules subject to change). There is an app that allows guests to make shuttle reservations up to 48-hours in advance, and to track the location of shuttles - a QR code will be provided at check-in.

The Morning Pour List (choose your favourites and they will be delivered to your room.). The Shoppe convenience store (open 24-hours).

Heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sun deck. 24-hour fitness centre. Tropical courtyard with sunbathing areas. 

Complimentary WiFi available. Laundry/dry-cleaning facilities*.

Nightly $17 resort fee is included for Virgin Holidays guests. 

Fee includes: complimentary shuttle to Disney World and Universal Orlando, complimentary WiFi access, and complimentary self-parking.

We stayed here in October 2025 as part of a TUI package holiday, which ended up costing about £10,000- including park tickets and spending money. The hotel’s location was lovely, the on-site Starbucks was convenient, and we enjoyed using the hot tub — but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. Our first room was infested with ants and visibly dirty, with a chemical gel applied around the kitchen area. The staff member who placed it even asked if we had young children, implying it could be harmful, yet we were never told what it was. After complaining, we were moved to another room which was also unclean — floors that stained our socks, a grimy bathroom, and a broken bath plug. Even after a “deep clean,” the dirt remained. On our final day, the hotel lost water supply entirely. We also used ice from our freezer that tasted off, and both of us became unwell afterwards. While the hotel itself has potential, the hygiene standards and safety measures fell shockingly short. We raised this repeatedly and have since had a terrible experience with TUI’s aftercare, being offered just £180 or £300 in vouchers as “final settlement.” Lovely setting — but I can’t recommend this hotel or booking it through TUI due to the unacceptable hygiene issues and lack of accountability. This was our first trip abroad since covid and decided to return to Florida after being part of the Thomas Cook collapse in 2019. The location was perfect on I-drive with Icon park across the road and many eating venues in close proximity. We decided to use Ubers instead of hiring a car and this worked for us on this occasion I have stayed in many different accommodations in Florida over the years and this place for me was mediocre and the reason I am only giving 3 out of 5 is because of the ants we had in the kitchen throughout our entire stay, we had to throw a fair bit of food away we had bought from Walmart, they still remained after we had done this, we reported this on 2 occasions and maintenance did attend the first time whilst we were in the room to clean the area, unsure if anyone attended the second time as we were out all day. We just decided not to eat in the apartment after this which was a shame as that is one of the reasons we chose Sonesta ES The fridge was also very noisy as it was situated on the wall that backed onto the bedroom, I actually thought the noise was coming from the air con unit until I switched that off and realised it was actually the fridge The pool is very small and loungers are limited so if you decide to have a pool day you may not get a lounger unless you head down at 8am to get one The staff are pleasant and helpful and had we not had the ants in the apartment I would have given a 4 out of 5 We still had a fantastic time and Sonesta ES is in an ideal location on one of the nicest areas of I-Drive, Read less

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate our anniversary with the intent of visiting the local parks. The service was excellent and everything we needed was close and convenient. The front desk manager was always chipper and friendly. When I asked if I could do something special for my husband for our anniversary, they left us a beautiful swan towel display and little snacks with sparkling juice. It was beyond my expectations. From check-in to check-out, the team was courteous, efficient, and accommodating. We appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile. This is definitely a hidden gem amongst the hotel giants!

We have visited The Sonesta on several occasions. The hotel is perfect for couples and families, the rooms offer everything you need. The pool area is relatively small but again has everything you need for a rest day. The laundry area is perfect ! The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Unfortunately there is a negative, which is totally outwith the hotels control. It’s the external noise from Icon park which can lead to some really sleepless nights. I would recommend an internal room facing away from icon park. Read less
