The hotel

This lovely hotel sits on its own 100-acre peninsula at the southeast point of the island, just a 10-minute drive from Nelson's Dockyard with its historical buildings, museum and bars. There are two beaches, one for non-motorised water sports and the other for enjoying refreshing ocean breezes. The resort boasts five open-aired restaurants and one grill; most fêted of these is Piccolo Mondo, the resort's fine dining Mediterranean style restaurant in the village section, while the attractive waterside Docksider does a great Caribbean buffet each Thursday in alfresco surrounds. For a real treat, Royal Suites feature a king size bed with sunken living room, glass sliding doors to a private balcony and expansive bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and his and hers showers! A boardwalk also takes you from the suites right into the heart of Mamora Bay, perfect for strolling along in the moonlight! If plenty of home-from-home comforts appeal, choose a villa instead of a hotel room at St James's Club. Cheerful and bright, they feature warm Caribbean tones and terracotta tiles throughout. They're also very generous on space so are ideal for families and groups of friends.

Had to give flowers where they’re deserved 🌟 Eleven Eleven Bar is definitely lucky to have Delisha behind the bar. The cocktails were top tier and the customer service was a solid 10/10. We recently came back from a very relaxed and rejuvenating vacation at St. James Club Antigua We booked three rooms in the beachfront rooms. The rooms newly renovated, spacious and very well located close to restaurants, gym and tennis/pickleball courts Yes, there was seaweed, but we loved the beach on the opposite side. There were plenty shade, beds and towels. There was a bar and a mobile drinks cart passing every 15 to 20 minutes. The drinks selection for an all inclusive very good. We opted for Docksider Restaurant every night. They have different themes every night. The food great and the live entertainment even better. Rainbow Gardens was the rzstaurant for breakfast. Eleven Eleven and Beach Grill are the two popular a la carte restaurants for lunch. We tried sailing a few times, but it was a bit of a battle with little wind. The service was quite good, although Beach Grill a bit of a wait. The staff in general warm and welcoming. As always there was a few stff members that stood out. Special mentions to Tenesia, Elvis, Ozzy, Riaan, Shanieka and chef James. It was great that the executive chef took the time to explain some of the dishes For us it was great value for money. We made the most of our 10 days on a truly beautiful property Read less

This is our second visit to the St. James club. Three years ago (2023) we came with several other family members and this year in 2026. We’re coming with some new family members. This is an amazing resort with an all-inclusive theme that truly delivers. This year we’re bringing our almost 2 year-old granddaughter and she is having the time of her life. The resort is very welcoming as soon as you enter, everything is taken care of for you. If you have some need, let the staff know, and they will typically be able to take care of it. Multiple themed nights with one of my favorite nights being in the beach party. For the beach party they bring all of the restaurants staff, gear and amazing food out on the beach. We have an all night party on the beach over the beautiful calm private beach and Bay. Our previous visit was in 2023 and they did not have a beach party that time but they have other theme nights, including Caribbean nights or island nights. They have lots of non-motorized activities for you to partake in on their private bay. The Bay Area is beautiful and calm, which is great for the kids. There is a second beach by the adult Pineapple 🍍 area that you can go to that has a bit more waves, but usually had a lot of sargasso seaweed that comes up on the beach. They do try their best to rake it off with a tractor every morning and several times during the day, but it still has a bit of a weed smell over there. They have a nice fitness center with Cybex equipment if you want to work out while you’re here to try to keep the calories burning off. Plenty of walking around the club as well. Up into the high hills nearby to the private villas. They also have a lot of non-motorized boats and kayaks for you to enjoy on the bay. I’m not sure about the people giving the low marks, but this has been a wonderful experience each and every time that we have come here. Each time we come we spend a week and the staff gets to know you very quickly and knows your likes and desires. For me my red wine glass is usually never empty. Come enjoy and cheers 🍷to everyone.
