First time to Florida and booked this hotel due to positive trip advisor reviews, but wow, reviews don’t match this dated and overpriced hotel which in no way warrants any 4 star rating. Check in, after a whole day of travelling form UK, underwhelming and nonchalant, no warm welcome, no offer of a cool drink ( could have pointed out the cool water available a few meters away), no induction / advise on hotel or surrounding area. Room, king sea view suite, very dated, miss match of furniture , inadequate storage, small wardrobe ( 4 people capacity in room), paint peeling of doors, mould on balcony ceiling . Facilities in room, 1 hook in bathroom for towels, only 2 chairs on balcony, only 2 cups for hot drink use, and for hot drink, only coffee available, nowhere to make tea / hot chocolate , 2 bottles of water not replaced. No where to dry towels or swim wear, either in bathroom or balcony . No resemblance to the AI generated pictures on the web site. Sound proofing non existent, be prepared to share your holiday with fellow guests through the walls and ceiling. Eco credentials non existent, single use plastic in room and all over hotel, no ability to dry towels and request change after server all days instead of daily- appalling attitude to the environment. Restaurant, bland food completely overpriced, for an expensive main meal you then ask for $12 for a side of mashed potato, and seem cook unable to prepare or service vegetables. Probably explains why so many people bring in food to the hotel or arrange for food to be delivered. Bar and lounge are, bar is quite depressing and not a place to spend any time, the only lounge are for guests are some seating next to the reception, so no where to relax inside. In house shop/ coffee, again, great for stale croissants, horrendous muffins, and overpriced tourist tat. Beach, actually very good with direct access, and the team looking after the beach does a good job. However, quite dangerous, gets steep very quickly, then ridge to step up and becomes shallow, no beach lifeguard. Pool and lazy river laughable. The pool in essence is just an extra large hot tub, and the lazy river must be the smallest in the world.completely useless. Gym, small , dated and poor. Parking, $60 per night, more expensive than hiring a car. We used uber constantly, and when chatting to drivers all had the same feedback they received from guests they pick up, overpriced and dated. Our only advice to anyone looking at this hotel is don’t bother. We enjoyed Fort Lauderdale and will be back, but never to this hotel. I have noticed management response to any complaint is a standard nonchalant reply so expect same, this hotel would never be awarded 4 stars in Europe and would scape 3. Read less

After reading reviews on here , so disappointed with our stay, first time to Florida. There is absolutely no way this is a 4 star hotel, at best average 3 star hotel. Starting with our check in, after a long journey from the UK, completely underwhelming, no information about the hotel or surrounding area given, not even offered a cool drink, utterly useless receptionist. The room, no resemblance to the AI images on the webpage, we booked sea view suite, very dated, paint flaking off doors, mould on balcony ceiling, no facilities to make hot drink except coffee ( why no kettle for your guests that don't drink coffee!), this was a sea view king suite , for 3 of us, 2 chairs on small balcony ( not sure where the large terrace described with the room went) , and only 2 cups. Miss match of furniture, small wardrobe and little storage. Soundproofing non existent, pray you have quiet guests above and to the side of you. Bathroom, 1 towel hook in bathroom to hang wet towels, no line or dryer on balcony to dry towels/beach wear. Restaurant - completely overpriced, bland average food and you then have the audacity to charge $12 for a side of mashed potatoes! Pool and lazy river, what a joke, so small and quite honestly is just an oversized hot tub, the lazy river must be the smallest in the world, completely useless. Beach front location is the one good point, direct access and the team looking after the beach do a good job. However, beach is quite dangerous, initially steep dip then becomes shallow. For a private beach no life guard on duty ? Inhouse shop/coffee facilities - great if you like stale croissants, horrible tasting muffins and overpriced tat. Bar and reception area, very bland and unwell coming, , and for guests no lounge to sit only the small busy reception area. Environmental credentials - non existent . Single use plastic everywhere and no ability to ask for your towels not to be changed daily. You have have the audacity to ask to turn off lights at night so that turtles are not confused when returning to beach to nest, despite the fact each day your tractors 'plough' the beach to hide the sargassum and you produce so much environmental damage from your daily running of the hotel. Parking - $60 per day - more expensive than the cost of hiring a car! We used Uber on many occasions and booked many experiences, the feedback from the locals was all the same with regard to the hotel - dated and overpriced, we were recommend several hotels to stay in next time we return. Ignore the AI images, just avoid this hotel. I have seen the replies to other poor reviews so expecting the same bland excuses from managment. Read less
