This small resort is split into two hotels and occupies 300 ft of south coast beachfront. It doesn't matter which hotel you stay in, as you are free to use the facilities at both. This means you can enjoy two swimming pools, an oceanfront restaurant and, of course, a selection of complimentary non-motorised water sports along the lovely white sand beach. Coral Mist and Blue Orchids Hotels have the added advantage of being only a 5-minute drive from the shops, bars and restaurants of the lively St Lawrence Gap.

Third time at the coral mist, wonderful base to explore. The hotel is informal which we love, feels like your visiting family. The staff are helpful and friendly but not imposing. The beach is amazing, the sea a little rough but just a boogie bus ride away to Carlisle Bay it is as still as a mill pond. They are great shops and restaurants all around the area. The artisan cafe is a great place for coffee and smoothies. Champers a fabulous restaurant next door. This are of Christchurch is welcoming and friendly and authentic. I can also recommend The Graham Hall nature reserve within walking distance a calm and beautiful place to visit. A special thank you to Reggie the manager Amanda reception Tabby and chef in the restaurant, the food was of great quality and beautifully presented. Tabby looked after us so well. Thank Alison and Sharon housekeeper’s we thank you all for the memorable time we had.
The road can be a little noisy and the sea if it’s windy, if you are a light sleeper get some ear ware to help. Don’t be put off though. This hotel is a great find.

The staff were excellent, rooms cleaned everyday, nice small bar znd restsurant area. It can be a bit noisy as you have the main road one side and the crashing waves the other but that's just a minor issue. Used the public buses which are excellent running every minute it seems like. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants and beach clubs to choose from.

Kelly was a lovely host and enjoyed her company.
However we were given incorrect menus and even though we paid for full breakfast I was charged for a salmon bagel and 2 orange juices .
