I believe the hotel is too big and very disjointed. There is no signs telling you where you're going and it can be very difficult just to find your room. Everything is an extra charge and you're not told about a $70 a night parking trade and then a $200 resort fee. The food I took was so so and again I thought that the hotel was largely disorganized with no signage to tell you where where you were going and what buildings that you should be in and even worse than that is getting through the Miami airport. If you come out of the American airline terminal, it's a good mile and a half walk to get your baggage and then about another mile walk to Logan to rental car. It's constructed in a very address matter and it can really put a ruined to your vacation. The people are over all nice in the hotel. The rooms are I would say good again. Everything is a charge and everything is extra. I probably should have gone out at 4:00 for a better rest, but after going to do the Miami airport and spending several miles of walking and them coming to here and then hearing all the extra chargees a small single cruise would have been the better idea Read less

I traveled here with my spouse for his work conference. He specifically booked his room over the phone and told them which conference he was attending. So tell me why they put us in the farthest tower from the conference center where another larger conference was going on? Everything is overpriced and an illusion of luxury but the whole building is decrepit and falling apart. You can't even fill a water bottle here. Even Super 8 has free ice water in the lobby! You can't use the fridge in the room without getting charged so forget about bringing anything back to the hotel. The only redeeming quality I can say is that all the staff were incredibly nice and hospitable. Read less

I have never written a negative hotel review before, but what happened at Fontainebleau Miami was so frustrating and blatantly dishonest that I feel obligated to warn others. Upon checkout, we specifically asked for a full portfolio of charges. We noticed that some smaller charges were missing from the invoice and brought it to the front desk’s attention because it didn’t seem right. We were reassured that everything listed was correct and were told it might just be due to credits on the room. We even went back again to double-check because something felt off, and again we were told the total was accurate and final. Weeks later, we discovered hundreds of dollars in additional charges on the card — charges we did not authorize and did not make. When my friend reached out to the hotel and involved her bank, Fontainebleau responded by sending an invoice containing charges from the beach restaurant and beach bar — places we never even stepped foot in. After multiple calls, emails, and back-and-forth conversations, the hotel admitted these charges were incorrect and promised refunds for the hundreds of dollars they tacked onto our stay. Months later, no refund has ever been issued. My friend has wasted countless hours calling both the hotel and her bank, only to receive excuses, delays, and now complete silence. This experience feels like a pattern, not a mistake — missing charges on the portfolio to avoid raising suspicion at checkout, then quietly billing later when guests are already home. For such a “luxury” property, this is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of transparency, the false documentation they sent the bank, and the refusal to resolve the issue are all major red flags. If you’re considering staying here, please monitor your statements closely and be prepared to fight charges you never made. What happened to us was not an accident — it was a scam. Read less

Kevin and Gianni helped my group get 12 chairs together. They set everything up nicely for us and delivered service with a smile.
