We had really mixed feelings about our experience here. This hotel is huge, and expensive, but really neat! We loved the concept of the little areas inside to have meals, drinks, hangout, etc. The lofted ceilings, the indoor plants, everything really was so nice in terms of that. The water fountain show was fun. The pool was lovely (warm, easy to enjoy). Great outdoor hot tub as well. Wonderful (incredibly clean) water park if you want to upgrade to that. Rooms were pretty spacious and very clean. Plenty of staff at check-in and for cleaning. Location was not near the downtown area, so if that's what you're looking for - this won't be it. But, it was about 20 minutes away from there and easy to access. We had problems with the plumbing in the hotel, and had to switch rooms due to that. There was lack of empathy during our initial reports of the concerns, and that was frustrating. Toilets are fairly weak - be aware, and we wound up having a faulty one. Upon checkout, Andre and Via were very kind and helpful in the end, showing us kindness and respect for our concern and issue during our stay. One evening we couldn't access a part of the hotel due to a convention, which sort of was a bummer, but we understand that happens. Shops and restaurants are open fairly late, which is good. Things are pricey here, so be aware of that. Self-parking is cheaper, and close by - unless you really want/need it - use that in lieu of valet. Save the $$. Again, this hotel is beautiful, incredibly clean and very comfortable. It's nice to be able to walk around and just enjoy the scenery. Luxurious for families, which is so nice. We enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was great. Rooms are clean and bedding is what you would expect in a higher end hotel. The water, Soundwave, is s must if you have kids. The lifeguards are the best I've seen. They never sit down. The quality of food was very great. It's an extremely large facility. So expect to walk. But, there are employees,… Read more

Restaurants, bars, and walking around this hotel is great. The hotel itself is beautiful and I recommend it for these things. Staying here was a different story. Our mattress felt worse than any military cot I had to lay in for the military. I have extreme back pain this week from waking up in pain every morning. I found it interesting they boasted of their high quality mattresses on one of their signs in the hotel. Room service was one of the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. One day, they didn’t even show up at all. Most of the staff was great; however, had an extremely rude manager tell me “it wasn’t fair to the other 70+customers” if I ordered a soup to go for my daughter in her room with an upset stomach…wasn’t asking for any table service or anything…literally wanted a cup of soup in a to-go cup and let me pay for it in person or charged to my room. Guests still have to pay for the pool, so there is no benefit for staying here to use that. If coming to Nashville, I highly recommend staying downtown where you are within walking distance of most of were you likely want to go, and then driving here for drinks, dinner, the pretty walks, and possibly the pool. We did not try the spa or golf course on this trip. Read less

I don’t know where to start to describe this amazing place! I’ve never stayed somewhere the tour guide had to give us a guided tour of the hotel! I was in the Cascades section which has a huge garden with waterfalls, even a boat ride, and often live music. There are multiple places to eat and buy food. I got an excellent choice from Coffee Bean for my breakfasts. There are also lots of great shops. In spite of the huge size of the hotel, it was fairly easy to navigate once I got my bearings. The room itself was nice although with view of the car park, but didn’t spend much time there with so much going on. The bathroom was small with one sink in there and one in room. There wasn’t much room to get dry after shower. Hair dryer very scruffy, well-used. I slept with light on under tv as couldn’t see where to switch it off - and one of the bedside lamps came on in the night! But overall this really was a most amazing, enjoyable place to stay.
