My stay at The Gaylord Opryland Resort was like no other vacation I had ever been on. Starting with the service that I had been given from the very start. Walking in, the staff was extremely friendly, helping my family and me with our bags and carrying luggage inside. When first walking in, you'll hear the beautiful sounds of waterfalls and the gorgeous view even when being in the lobby. The whole building was just stunning. When walking into my room at the resort, I first noticed how we had a balcony overlooking the main area of the resort. Looking out from the balcony, I felt like I was staying in a jungle. My room was very clean and spaced out perfectly. There are numerous activities to do when staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. While I was there visiting, my family and I went into the main jungle area to take stunning pictures. Everywhere you looked was a picture perfect spot. The lights hanging from the ceiling and the gorgeous greenery all around was outstanding. We were not aware that there was a spot to have a boat ride on or we would have most definitely ridden on it. The next morning, my family and I ate an amazing breakfast. Our waiter has to be one of the friendliest people we have ever met and was always there when we needed a refill or anything else. We were able to go up to the bar and pick out the food we wanted. Fresh fruit was served, donuts, omelets, sausage, eggs and so many more amazing breakfast food options. After eating the delicious breakfast, my family and I made a trip to the indoor and outdoor water park because my family purchased the sound waves package. The indoor water park was really cool and reminded me of a more adult like version of Great-Wolf Lodge. My favorite part about the indoor water park was how there were two lazy rivers. One lazy river had the water moving at a more of a fast pace, and the other was slower paced and really gave you a relaxing experience. Unfortunately for us, we were not able to visit the outdoor water park as much as we had liked due to the rain. However, what I noticed about the outdoor water park was how large their wave pool was and how the waves started quickly after each cycle. My favorite part about the outdoor water park was how at the wave pool, there was a very large screen playing awesome music. The screen showed the music video along with the song. Overall, my trip to the Gaylord Opryland Resort was amazing and I would absolutely go again if given the chance. Read less

Be careful with this company. Even if you get seriously injured on site, resulting in permanent disability, you are not getting a refund. Very disappointed in their reaction to my son losing a finger on their skating rink due to how unstable those polar-bear tools were. Be careful with this company. Even if you get seriously injured on site, resulting in permanent disability, you are not getting a refund. Very disappointed in their reaction to my son losing a finger on their skating rink due to how unstable those polar-bear tools were. As a giant corporation, they can easily make our lives less difficult. Instead, they stuck to the lettering of the contract and kept the $1000 we prepaid for that day. I consider that pretty heartless. Read less

We recently stayed at the Gaylord for a conference and had a nice time. The resort itself gave me Las Vegas vibes, as it is an ecosystem in itself. The signage (or lack thereof) makes navigating through it very challenging; I never did find the water park. The rooms are adequate for your stay; however, the in-room coffee could use a significant upgrade, considering the cost and caliber of the resort - it was a Fairfield Inn coffee maker at a high-end Marriott establishment. Not Cool! The gym has a lot of cardio machines and a small area for weights, which you must work your way into alongside other guests. It's relatively small for the size of the resort. On the plus side, I highly recommend dining at the on-site Steakhouse. Our waiter was terrific, and the food was delicious - arguably the best aspect of this place. You will also have no problem hitting your step goals, so wear comfortable shoes. Read less

Overpriced! Rude staff! Housekeeping non existent had to ask for clean towels toilet paper and even empty my own bin. As you walk in its wow this place looks the part. But once you deal with reception and other members of staff and see the room its a big come down. The price you pay you would expect a little more room very basic. Two bottles… Read more

This is an awful hotel - noisy, expensive with poor customer service . Thankfully, I only stayed for a couple of nights but that was two nights too many . I would thoroughly recommend that you look for somewhere else to stay when visiting Nashville .
