There isn't much I can say about my experience at the Sarojin which hasn't already been expressed in many 5/5 reviews here on TripAdvisor. It was close to perfection. The swimming pool was beautiful and peaceful and I enjoyed watching the squirrels whilst in the water. I used the pool at different times of the day including 6 am and I found this to be the best wildlife spotting opportunity at the Sarojin because as well as the squirrels at their most energetic I also saw kingfishers, hornbills, mynas and egrets. The beach is moments away and stunning. I would suggest checking the tide times which are posted around the resort. We turned left and walked along the beach for about an hour during low tide and we were kept interested by the multitude of trees alive and healthy as well as many naturally felled trees and large amounts of driftwood. There was also a lot of washed up coral on the beach and stringing the pieces together and hanging them on the trees as decorations seems to be a local habit. We passed a few beach bars and beach restaurants and at least a couple of massage places with open air beds with canopies. It seemed 400 - 500 Baht was the going rate for most types of massage for 1 hour. On another walk which coincided with high tide we walked in the opposite direction but did so on the road. So we walked out of the main entrance of the resort and turned left for about 30 minutes before we found a beach and the Rock Bar. We had cans of soft drinks for 30 Baht each. The sea was completely in and we would not have managed to access this spot by walking along the beach. We had European style dinner at the Ficus Restaurant in the centre of the resort and Thai food at The Edge restaurant which is by the beach. Both meals were of a very high standard although the prices were equivalent to that of Nando's or Wetherspoon's ( very cheap UK restaurants). We had the unusual pleasure of staying in 2 different room types so I am in a position to give you a comparison. Firstly, the "garden" room was amazing. It was large, stylish and luxurious and at least as good as a few other hotel rooms I have been lucky to stay at. Our second accommodation, a jacuzzi room was a whole new experience for me. It was a suite with a secluded outdoor area with a day bed and a jacuzzi big enough to accommodate 4 people. The living room consisted of 2 large individual chairs and a four poster day bed. On either side of this room there was a desk. At one end was a hidden niche with the mini bar etc and at the opposite end hidden was the second toilet and a wondrous outdoor shower. The bedroom consisted of a four poster bed and a chaise long. The ensuite had a 2 person bath and the main shower. The wallpaper in the living room was splendid and the wall art in the bedroom was beautiful and useful for me to hang my wet clothes on😁 I do not expect to be in a position to have such an amazing room again unless I return here. A beautiful and peaceful resort with a private beach. The architecture has been created to make one feel connected with nature whilst nesting amidst modern luxury. We had a spacious 1-bedroom villa with an open-air jacuzzi that could be warmed up for colder evenings, indoor and outdoor showers, thoughtful furnishing and customized shower/bath products made from natural ingredients (even the insect repellant smelt therapeutic). All day breakfast was available till 6pm, again another thoughtful touch that allowed us to soak in the mornings at the beach or pool, no need to rush just to catch breakfast in time. Highly recommend the sumptuous private dinner with candlelight - we opted for steamed seafood with local sauces on the side, all perfectly cooked. In fact there was extra left for breakfast the next morning in the comfort of our room. Try an immersive experience at Pathways Spa - there is a 'forest bathing' feel as the effective therapists are at work. The staff are definitely the stars at this resort, professional, attentive, caring. Only regret was leaving all too soon! Read less

A beautiful slice of Thai paradise. This was our second visit to the Sarojin and again we were not disappointed. The staff are absolutely amazing kind and bend over backwards to make your stay the best possible. The location is amazing with long white sandy beaches the restaurants are fantastic with the best food I have ever had. There is a wonderful relaxing pool with plenty of very comfortable bed lounges and the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The local wildlife is great to see roaming around. Everything about the Sarojin just says paradise. You will not be disappointed and you most certainly won’t want to leave and miss those wonderful Thai smiles. Perfect for couples Read less
