Seriously consider if you want to stay at this hotel for a family vacation. The conventions were so intrusive on family time, whole place, including pool and beach areas are overtaken, and has a major impact. Obviously the companies paying a fortune for these events are priority over everyone else, we’ve had 3 days of an events team getting in our way, drilling etc. Also be warned the pools are almost unusable they are so cold, although management insist they are 10 degrees above outside temperature. You know it’s too cold when kids are all complaining and it’s nearly 90 degrees outside!! Couldn’t swim the entire 5 days we were there. Read less

⭐ 1 Star — Terrible Experience at Disney Swan & Dolphin Resort I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin. Kristin Bourgeois and Mohamed Kahra, who claimed to be managers, were rude, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. They made promises they never kept, lied multiple times, and showed zero concern for guest satisfaction. Their attitude was so bad that I ended up having to call Marriott customer service just to get basic help — something that should’ve been handled right there by the managers. It’s shocking that people like this represent a Marriott property. Don’t believe a word they say. and Mohammed are liars with terrible customer service, and this hotel does not deserve to carry the Marriott name. I’ll never stay here again and would warn anyone thinking about booking to stay somewhere else. Read less

Recently had a great stay at the Dolphin Hotel. Wonderful pool area with a beach (can play in the sand although can’t swim in the lagoon water). One small water slide, waterfall for the kids to play under as well as massive pool with plenty of beach chairs. Numerous restaurants within the hotel or close by at the swan. Since it’s associated with Disney can get early booking of lightening lane (7 days in advance) as well as early 30 minute entry to all the parks. Short walk to Epcot (15 minutes) or can ride the ferry. They do offer buses to magic kingdom (but drop you off at the transportation center where you have to take monorail or ferry) or you can walk to the boardwalk hotel close by and take their free shuttle (drop you off at magic kingdom would highly recommend.) Can take a ferry to Hollywood Studios or bus to animal kingdom (but again a little further away from Disney bus drop off). Rooms were decent but nothing special could certainly use a little refresh. Bathrooms were a little small and damp (could use better ventilation). It is a massive hotel with numerous elevator banks so if you are going with friends make sure to stay in the same wing of the hotel. Read less

Nice property. Great service at Bourbon Steakehouse from Mateo. Randy , Jaelyn, and Mathew at the front desk were so helpful. I had an issue checking in that the different staff members couldn't fix, but Jaelyn, Randy, and Mathew made sure the problem was fixed for me and I greatly appreciate their dedication to make sure everything was good.

Third and last time of staying at the Dolphin. We was there for 2 weeks at the end of September, first issue was the car parking or the lack of it. On our 4th day we we found out that the main car park was closing for construction and we could park in the smaller car park at the Dolphin which holds approx 50 cars, obviously for a hotel this size it was always going to be full, so we was told to self park at the Swan or use valet, well after a day at parking at the Swan and us going to the parks, shopping and eating out we was doing more miles than walking around the parks, after ranting to the front desk for 15 mins I managed to get free valet for the rest of our stay. I did confirm with the desk manager that this was complimentary and he would note this on our room. Yep you guessed it they tried to charge me nearly 60 dollars a night for this, so we spent our last day with the obnoxious girl who was the front desk manger trying to resolve this. In the end they owed me. The next rant and far more serious is housekeeping. On TWO occasions they had left the door open once they had finished there so called cleaning, we did report this on the first occasion and the head of housekeeping and security came to apologise and investigate, front of desk was not even concerned about this, we considered this as a oversite and luckily enough no-one had entered the room, but for it to happen again after a week or so is a great concern and a security risk. We did report this again and security was going to contact us but to no avail, we checked out the next day. Luckily our room was right down the end of the corridor so had no passing foot traffic, but it does scare me what could of happened as my daughter was letting herself in alone in and out of the room. Disappointed Dolphin your standards should be a lot higher the amount you charge for staying there, the resort fee and the car parking charges. Read less
