PRICEY but you absolutely get what you pay for (and then some, in my case)!

You pay a LOT, but you absolutely get what you paid for. I booked during the off-season, booking a mountain-view room for roughly $600.00 - a bit steep for me, but when in Rome right? Anyway, I am guessing due to the offseason, I was upgraded for free to a lake view room (usually about $1,100.00), so that was an awesome surprise! The grounds, it…

The grounds, it goes without saying, are majestic. And I don't use that word lightly. Lake Louise is absolutely stunning. The gentleman at check-in was super kind, courteous and had a good sense of humour. For parking, you have the option of valet, or self-parking if you'd prefer. Dinner was really good, but for the prices, the portions were tiny. But to be fair, I knew what I was getting. It's part of the experience really. There are restaurants in town that are much cheaper. Breakfast was freaking awesome. They have the standard cold food continental breakfast section, but on steroids lol The selection is closer to the hotels I stayed at in Iceland (a country that absolutely takes its hotel breakfast selection VERY seriously), but you could also order hot breakfast too, or a bit of both! I can't say enough positives about my experience, just again, the price might be an issue. But you get what you pay for (and then some, in my case)!

Ever since forever, I’ve wanted to visit Lake Louise. When I saw that they had a famous hotel located right next to the lake, I knew that I wanted to stay there. My stay here did not disappoint. Not only were the views breathtaking, but so was the hotel itself. Inside the hotel, there are many things to see and do. The hotel has many dining options available. There are also cute shops located throughout the ground and lower levels. The living room space on the second floor has cozy seating areas, a fireplace, and board games. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness space. Plus the new Basin thermal pools area just opened ( fyi, that is an extra price, not included in the resort fee). The hotel also has activities throughout the day and during the week like scavenger hunts for kids and campfires with s’mores on some evenings. The service that we received throughout our stay was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay truly memorable.

Perfect location to explore Lake Louise.

Must stay to truly enjoy Lake Louise, even if only for a night. Lake view room was comfortable, service was fabulous. Early and late access to trails made it worthwhile. Recommend hiking the Tea House Trail.

Wowza…. This is one of those hotels that lives up to the hype. You aren’t going to find a more beautiful location than this pretty much anywhere in the world. The staff is off the chart and their professionalism and wanting to help you. The basin is their new spa and it’s well worse spending the extra money for the three hours experience. Make…

The staff is off the chart and their professionalism and wanting to help you. The basin is their new spa and it’s well worse spending the extra money for the three hours experience. Make sure you rent a car and drive north towards Jasper and also spend time in Banff. This is just a great area. We probably took more pictures than we have in one week ever in our lives.

Travelled here with large family from all over N. America. Splurged and got 4 suites overlooking the lake on a high floor. Seriously you could just sit and stare out the windows for hours! Although Parks Canada was dealing with extremely high tourist volumes at the lake, once you entered the Chateau it was a sanctuary! We also required a wheelchair accessible room which turned out to be quite large and workable.
The dining venues are exquisite but very busy this time of year, with a huge variety of local and international food and wine. Pool, steam and hot tub area are not up to other Fairmont Hotel standards, fairly dated. ⁸
