Located in Banff National Park, overlooking Lake Louise. 45-minute drive from Banff. The ski lifts are 10-minutes away. Transfer time from Calgary Airport: 2 hours 10 minutes.

Fairmont Lake View Rooms are as Fairmont Rooms but with views of Lake Louise and the Victoria Glacier, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Deluxe Rooms are larger in size with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Fairmont Gold Rooms are located on the 7th and 8th floors, with private check-in and access to the exclusive Fairmont Gold Lounge which offers Continental breakfast, tea and coffee and complimentary evening canapés (5:00pm-7:00pm), sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

We looked forward to staying at this hotel as part of our family holiday and it did not disappoint! The rooms were of the standard expected, the view over a partially frozen Lake Louise was out of this world and the hotel staff were all very pleasant. One small exception was a waiter in the Louiza restaurant who wouldn’t let my wife order her lamb well done as it would “ruin the meat” which we thought was a bit of an odd response to a customer’s request. That aside, the staff were great and one negative interaction wasn’t going to “ruin” our experience. The hotel is well equipped for families, there’s a kids check in desk which our daughter loved and the swimming pool has family sessions too. Externally, the footpath that runs the full length of the lake is very accessible and offered fantastic views back down towards the hotel. A wee hidden gem was the “living room” area situated above the main foyer. It has free drinks for hotel guests and plenty of by comfy couches. Lovely stay and we’ll certainly be back. Read less

We went for lunch but did not stay over. We didn’t know that Fairview Restaurant only has afternoon tea. We requested a move and were well accommodated! Ended up at Louiza with an amazing server, Ajay. Delicious food and drinks . Great view of Lake Louise. And the front desk decided to comp our parking fee!

Unfortunatly we experienced many errors which was unfortunate, however the conceirege, royal service and driving team couldnt have done more to rectify and find alternatives, so for this reason we are very happy. Dennys the driver rescued us twice and helped us find info for our onward journey. Only downside and suprise given prices, was a lack or privicy and peace for hotel guests. Outside the cafe, visitors were sat covering the floor and thw lake view was loud and full. Not much that can be done and the hotel dont own the lake. We had a beautiful meal in walliser stube with great staff. Breakfast menu and buffet were lovely and fresh. stunning terrace for cocktails and food with heaters. We took a short guided hike - our guide kevin was so informative and worked with the groups differing abilities. Overall great stay! Read less

I have never felt so genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. This was my first time staying at a Fairmont property, and the world-class, personable service left an incredible impression. In particular, I want to formally recognize Fernaldy at the Fairmont Gold Reception. He went entirely above and beyond to make our stay memorable, demonstrating the kind of exceptional hospitality that makes you want to return. Additionally, Evan at the Walliser Stube, Caitlynn at the Louisa provided exceptional, high-level service that was absolutely flawless. The facilities and the iconic location itself were just as breathtaking and wonderful as expected.
