Shoutout to Omali, Delvert, Shantelle, Aviar, Anne, Vivian, and Ernesto made the experience SO amazing and thoughtful. Omali knew our names by day 2, even with all the new couples coming in that day. Always kept us in the middle of all the fun and up to date on all of the events happening that day. Delvert, Shantelle, and Vivian kept us well “hydrated”. Would recommend this experience to anyone, especially honeymooners like us! Read less

We stayed at Sandals St Vicent for 14 nights in a Lady Palm Swim Up, room 3104, end of April – early May. The room was stunning and absolutely huge. The bed is huge and comfortable. There is plenty of wardrobe/storage space. The bathroom is fabulous, with a double vanity, huge shower with 3 shower heads, including a rainfall shower, and an enormous free standing bath. Our only small niggle with the room is that there was nothing near the bath to put products (or a glass of something lovely) on. My other half easily rectified this by moving a small table which was next to the sofa in the bedroom, and putting it next to the bath for me. We felt that room 3104 was perfectly positioned – it was away from walkways and lifts, and with enough foliage opposite to be afforded a decent amount of privacy.  As for the resort itself, we have mainly very positive feedback. It is beautifully kept and absolutely stunning. We can’t speak highly enough of the staff, they were all so friendly, couldn’t do enough for you and every single person we walked past asked how we were doing or wished us a wonderful day. There were a few who really stood out to us and really made our stay memorable. Shevena (Shevy), who served drinks round the pools. Jocelyn, who kept our room spotless every day. Romana in Scrimshaw & Parisol. Emmanuel in Crema and Blum, who makes the BEST coffee, along with Tiffany and Nia. Vasquez, the manager in Sora, who was so kind when my other half wasn’t feeling well and amde sure we were sat at an easily accessible table, as my other half is blind. Ackeem, who I think was a gardener, who stopped to chat to us regularly. Kenny, the manager at Parisol. Zoe in Sora, who came to check on my other half after he wasn’t feeling well. There are so many others who were so lovely and kind, I wish I could remember all their names!  We spent most of our mornings at the heart shaped pool, which was supposed to be the ‘quiet pool’. We did enjoy it here, however it was far from quiet, with the construction noise from the new rondovals, plus very loud music from the main pool for most of the day. Here is one of our less positive opinions of the resort – the main pool is so central to the resort, you just can’t get away from the noise! We appreciate that many people will enjoy the music and entertainment of the main pool, but if you enjoy peace and quiet, and just want to listen to the birds, wind in the trees and the waves, you aren’t getting that here. Regarding the construction noise, we queried this as much as we could before we travelled, and were repeatedly assured by Sandals that it wasn’t intrusive and we would barely notice it. Sadly, this was not the case – most days by the pool we had to listen to hammering, drilling, circular saws and the like. This was not the experience we were sold. Lounger wars are a big thing here, we heard about the shenanigans at 6am for the loungers at the infinity pools. We refuse to get involved in that (the whole thing is ludicrous, in our opinion!), so when we want to sit out, we just go find loungers and sit on them. If sitting in a particular spot is important to you and you don't have a butler, you'll need to set your alarm. There were plenty of loungers available either on the beach or at the heart shaped pool at any time of day. We ate in all the restaurants at least once and mainly had excellent meals. Service was great in all restaurants, we couldn’t fault the staff. Overall, Butches was probably our favourite restaurant, but we also enjoyed Scrimshaw and Sora very much. Parisol is really good at lunchtime (try the Doubles, it was fantastic!), maybe not so great in the evenings, in our opinion. We found that the food quality at Parisol seems to be dependent on how busy they are. Buccan is a ‘must do’ – it’s a fun and sociable evening, and the food was delicious. Gatsu Gatsu was probably our least favourite, although not the fault of the establishment. My other half doesn’t particularly enjoy oriental cuisine, he only went as I wanted to go, and I wasn’t feeling great that evening, so didn’t eat much. We had 2 fabulous meals at Jerk Shack, one at lunchtime, one in the evening. Our third visit there wasn’t so great – I ordered the curried goat and got mostly bone, rather than meat. I’m sure they would have brought me another meal, had I asked. Pizzas and salads at Isola and Imoro were really good, albeit we had quite a long wait a couple of times (it's very popular). We very much enjoyed both Crema and Blum – delicious coffee, lovely cakes/ice cream, and great service always with a smile.  Overall, we did enjoy our holiday, it's a picture perfect destination, and we would definitely recommend Sandals St Vincent to anyone who hasn’t been. If you’ve never snorkled before (as I had not) then definitely take a snorkel mask – I had a great morning snorkelling right off the beach and saw so many different fish, it was really wonderful!
