Overall, had a good experience but as this is now only our second Sandals experience, the butler experience wasn’t close to the service that we received in St. Lucia (Regency La Toc). Maybe my wife and I just didn’t just ask for enough or have as many requests, but in St. Lucia we just felt they were ahead of requests and made the trip unforgettable without us asking. A generalized example would be that we got to know our butlers in St. Lucia and they were clearly a team. I never went a day without seeing two of them multiple times, there were at least a couple of days that I only talked to one of our butlers over a single visit and call in St. Vincent. We were told at least two times by our butlers that they would meet us at the end of the day/night to make sure that we didn’t need anything/to get us anything we need, but they ended up being no shows. Unfortunately, this also included the farewell boat trip off the island where other guests’ butler was there and ours’ was a no show. We received a $50 voucher to use at the spa, but make sure that you don’t book and prepay for your spa services prior to arriving to the resort or they won’t honor it. You can’t use it for your massages or services you book and pay for prior to arrival, ONLY for massages/services that you book and pay for on the island. You can’t even use it for the products they recommend after a massage. Honestly was bizarre to even give the certificate and not honor it after we had already booked two massage services prior to arriving. After all that, the overall experience was still good but think my wife and I made it that way. The resort is beautiful and we loved the food, coffee in the mornings and pool/beach lounging experience. If we go back, doubt we would book a butler level room unless we just want to splurge on the overwater suites that look beautiful. Read less

WARNING- this is LONG!! Lol 🌴 Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Review (Just our thoughts—add your tips if we missed anything!) ⸻ 🚤 Arrival: Start Strong First things first—take the boat transfer. It’s about a 25-minute ride, and the arrival is incredible. We rode on the JILLY Bean (named after Adam Stewart’s wife), and it instantly sets the tone—fun, unique, and way more memorable than a typical check-in. ⸻ 🐾 Animal Alert (My Favorite Part) If you love animals, you’re going to be very happy here. There are about 4 dogs and 3 cats on site, and they honestly become part of the experience: • Saint – white with brown spots, calm, patient… loves steak, hates shrimp (same honestly) • Vince – tan, a little shy, loves to bark and hype everyone up • Cani – sweet mama (puppies kept near water sports area) 👉 Not an animal person? Totally fine—they don’t bother you 👉 Animal lover? You’ll be obsessed like I was (Side note: I may be bringing personalized collars next time 😄) We did hear there were up to 7 dogs at one point and some were removed. Cani’s puppies are offsite—we never saw them, and I do hope they’re cared for long-term. ⸻ 🥗 Food: The Unexpected Star = Lunch Let me just say it… The BEST meals we had were lunch salads at Imoro. Fresh, flavorful, consistent—honestly a standout. 🍽️ Restaurants We Loved • ❤️ Butch’s – excellent, consistently strong • ❤️ Gatsu Gatsu – even my non-sushi husband loved it • ❤️ Imoro – salad bar win • ❤️ Scrimshaw (breakfast) – banana toast = YES We did not get to BUCCAN, and would love to hear what others thought! ⭐ Service Standouts • Lori @ Gatsu Gatsu – warm, attentive, flawless timing • Sanjay @ Butch’s – tall, polished, unforgettable (someone make him a butler—he’d be amazing) ✨ Both made us feel like we were their only table. ⚠️ SORA (Italian) This one missed for us: • Limited options • No classic pasta staples 👉 Suggestion: Add a build-your-own pasta + antipasto bar = instant upgrade and will help with wait times. (Still nothing beats Mario’s in Antigua for us 👑) ⸻ 🚲 Getting Around Beach bikes are everywhere—grab one and go. Easy, fun, and a great way to explore the property. ⸻ 🌊 Pools: Stunning… But Let’s Talk The chapel/beach pool (aka the “WiFi pool”) is the best: • Two-tiered • Half-moon design • Ocean views …but the chair situation needs work. We were up at 4am one day (before the 6am rule) 😳 People reserve chairs and don’t show up until afternoon. 👉 Resort ideas: • Timed chair system (4-hour windows?) • Check-in system with a pool attendant • Actually enforce clearing unused chairs • Numbered chairs with app-based reservations (this would amazing) 👉 Guest PSA: Don’t reserve chairs if you’re not using them. And PLEASE—don’t leave for excursions and claim space. Also… basic courtesy: Pack in / pack out. Towels, glasses, trash—clean up after yourself. 🌟 Shoutout Camoline (pool attendant) – absolute machine. Nonstop hustle, huge smile, and keeps things moving. ⸻ 🏝️ Beach + Island Vibe All beaches in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are public. • A few locals/kids nearby → respectful • Minimal cruise presence one day • Zero impact on our experience 👉 That said—guests need to do better cleaning up. We did see trash and even a diaper one day, which is frustrating since Sandals maintains the beach. 👉 Also: find the two hidden beaches near the chapel 👀 Small, quiet, and totally worth it. Round Ocean hammocks- a great way to relax ⸻ 🚤 Excursions & Experiences (Don’t Skip These) Get off the resort—it’s worth it. 🌟 Must-Do: • Diamond/Pearl/Ambassador Lunch Cruise (Thursday) – SO worth it • Visit future Beaches site (55 acres 👀) • See filming locations from Pirates of the Caribbean • Possible views of Pitons of St Lucia 💦 Water Activities • Snorkeling right off beach = great • Paddleboarding, kayaking, waterskiing/sailing/wake boarding 👉 Ask for Devon – super kind and helpful ⚠️ Tip: Make sure someone is watching sailboats… we saw someone stranded for 2+ hours 😅 👉 Pro tip: bring your own snorkel gear if you’re picky—water clarity is great and you’ll use it often. ⸻ 🏡 Rooms: 10/10 We stayed in a Butler Beach Villa with a pool (Room 2109) and it was perfect: • Close to beach + water sports • Walkable to everything • Incredible sunsets • Private pool = unreal Wouldn’t change a thing—although some may find it a bit close to water sports/guest activity. ⸻ 🤍 Butlers & Service Best part of this resort? Consistency. • Butlers show up on time • Room service is prompt • Everything runs smoothly Our Team: • Natalya – polished, professional, total overachiever (future management for sure) • Rennell – cool, calm, thoughtful, incredibly kind • Olivia – pure sunshine… funny, warm, and just makes everything better • Lenford – warm, kind, and clearly leadership potential ✨ Olivia recreated my birthday after my hurricane-interrupted trip at SRC—and it meant so much 🥹 this young lady just sparkles We also learned butlers rotate teams to cross-train—which makes sense, but we’re definitely requesting this crew again for 2028! ⸻ 🔌 Good to Know (Real Tips) • No bathroom outlets (code) • Hairdryer outside bathroom (Euro plug, works well) • US plugs by bed • Some closets have outlets 👉 Bring an extension cord if you use hot tools ⸻ 🎉 Extras That Stood Out • Friday Beach Party – newer, really fun (music, vendors, dancing) • Beach store – huge, has everything (minus diamonds 💎😂) • Water filtration system – glass bottles, dated + sealed (LOVE this) • No floats needed (but you can bring your own) • No pool tables / ping pong, but there is a game pavilion + giant chess ⸻ 🤿 Activities, Weddings & Crowd • Resort was at 94% capacity → felt empty • Layout is incredibly well done—very private feeling Weddings: They do an amazing job. 👉 Best spot: waterfront chapel at sunset (stunning) Extras: • Diving = some say the best Sandals offers • Pickleball is active (even with management playing!) ⸻ 📚 Community Experience You can visit a local school ($35) and read to kids ❤️ We’re bringing supplies next time—such a meaningful experience. ⸻ 💡 What We’d Love to See • Animal rescue partnership (spay/neuter program) Antigua did this with great success • SORA restaurant improvements, PARISOL wasn’t much better (they need better service + food selections) • Fire pit/lounge area near the Muster Area (perfect unused space!) • Better pool chair system (biggest opportunity) 👏 Leadership Note Tamon (General Manager) is very present, engaged, and clearly promotes from within—which shows in the staff culture. ⸻ ✨ Final Thoughts Saint Vincent feels like a fresh, elevated Sandals experience: • Beautiful setting • Happy, engaged staff • Thoughtful details 👉 Fix the pool chair situation… and it’s very close to perfect 😉 If you’re on the fence—go. This jumped to the top of our favorites list. Most importantly: This is the friendliest resort we’ve ever experienced. Not one person passed without saying hello. We truly felt like part of their family for the week 🤍 ⸻ Read less

There are 3 rows of chairs that circle the infinity pools that overlook the ocean. Best view and pool spots on the resort. Naturally those chairs are going to be competitive. I get it. We’ve all played the game. However at this resort you aren’t just playing against the other guests you are playing against their butlers. There are no obvious signs posted about the rules of when you can put out your stuff to reserve a chair. They don’t mention it at all during your room overview even at a club level room. I set my alarm for 5am which seemed reasonable to have ONE day and a shot at the front row closest to the ocean. I walk halfway across the resort (which is quite large) in the dark with wild packs of dogs howling in the near vicinity to show up and be told by a security guard who materialized out of the dark abyss like the grim reaper to inform me you can’t set stuff out until 6am. I return at 5:55am and the butlers are already there lined up. Out of the 10 or so sets of chairs, only 2 peasants without a butler were able to snag a spot in that front row. Narrator: I wasn’t one of them and yes I felt the rage akin to the fire of a thousand suns. Am I being a sore loser of these games? Maybe. But it’s still disheartening to have paid a considerable amount of money for this trip, wake up before everyone else, and not get the chair you want for just one day. Suggestion for the management of this Sandals: just say that those chairs are for butler level guests and be done with it. Put us peasants out of our misery so we don’t even try. Or at the very least make the rules of your hunger games be very clear from the start. May the odds be ever in your favor. Read less
